First let me say service was excellent, food was great, bar drinks were very good, and of course you pay dearly for what you get. I would definitely return and recommend to others, it is well worth the experience if in the area.

Truth be told, we eat a lot of steak. We always look for the local steak houses, and Doris Metropolitan is the one in the French Quarter. Things that went well: attentive service, bread plate that was complementary was creative and very tasty, the steaks...More

We went to Doris Metropolitan because it was close to our hotel. We didn’t have a reservation or anything and we were a party of five. We had to wait for a table at the bar, and Jason made our waiting the most amazing experience...More

First time here after moving our son into school. Great bar with excellent bartender / mixologist. Service was awesome and the food was terrific. Highly Recommended if you want a great piece of meat and seafood also.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
