Touristy restaurant on Bourbon St that was thankfully open on Thanksgiving Day. Prices were reasonable and staff was very friendly but the food was just okay. Nothing worth going out of your way to visit while in NOLA.

Good drinks, great food, good service. Our group had hurricanes, the Skylab and the rainbow. We ate alligator bites, which were very good, blackened chicken and redfish poboys.Usually there is a line in the evening but we hit it just right about 545p and got seated right away in the courtyard. The atmosphere is nice, the music not to overwhelming,... More

This is a landmark New Orleans bar/restaurant. Try a hurricane here but be wary of the "punch." Too many of these hurricanes and you'll need assistance back to your hotel. Food and service are reasonably good. A party hangout.

Great atmosphere and when the musicians click it is a great. Drinks are OK and probably OK for value bearing in mind that there is free music. We enjoyed it

Service was amazing and the waitress was even better. The only place we enjoyed the Hurricane drinks (which they are known for). We ordered fried alligator, fried oysters and the trio of gumbo, rice and beans and jambalaya. All soo delicious . We went for a late lunch and it was packed but still and tables to seat us right... Great afternoon spot for a hurricane and dueling pianos. Acoustics are good and pianists are sure to impress.

We ate in the courtyard and had wings, sandwiches, drinks. The staff was good and the food was good. A nice vibe and pretty surrounding.

They are known for their Hurricanes, Skip those! Go somewhere where they make them with fresh fruit instead of syrup flavoring. Food is very good, Nice patio, good selection of menu items.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
