The place is nice, the staff is incompetent, coffe not drinkable, fruit rotten. Not worth at all! Its in the heart of town, but other than that, nothing. Stupidly expensive for what it is.

Did you speak with a manager while on site so they could replace your meal or refund the cost? We want to make our guests happy but have to know when it happens. We regret your poor memories of our Cafe.

Cafe Beignet has been at this location for over two decades and is still one of my go-to places in NOLA for coffee, beignets and sumptuous-looking pastries. We visited in the evening when there was a guitar player set up in the corner to entertain...More

Rebecca - thanks for being a long time customer. We are delighted. If you get a chance, try our new location at 600 Decatur Street - live music all day.

Breakfast sandwich on fresh croissant was awesome. Had an order of beignets, they were out of this world good!. Coffee was fresh and hot. They do a great job of keeping the tables clean too.

This lovely little Cafe was a stones throw from our hotel. It's a quaint little cafe by the Police station. It was quite (when we were there) and friendly. The coffee was good and the beignets hot and delicious, freshly cooked to order. We could...More

I will be sure to let the manager at that location know about this. Perhaps the cloth was older and just discolored - but we will certainly check.

Cute little café with really great beignets! If that is not your thing they also have omelets! The coffee was pretty amazing as well.

Be sure to stop in and try out the incredible chicken salad sandwich on croissant! Yummy.

Great Beignets. There were so soft and warm I understand why a standard order is for 3. There is no way you can only eat 1 unless you saved the beignets until you finished their delicious breakfast items.

We came here in a rush because it's near our hotel and we had a tour to do right after. It's cute by nothing special. The food runner was extremely dry and awkward. She got annoyed when we asked her to repeat something once because...More

Begneits as good as Cafe du Mond's, with less wait (but not that much less wait). Nice outdoor seating, weather permitting.

We were taking the Voodoo and Cemetery tour which meets here so we decided to have breakfast. This place is great - the beignets are fantastic and it has a nice courtyard.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Café Beignet is known for their made-to-order Beignets, a puffy pillow of fried dough dusted with powdered sugar, and café au lait. But there is so much more! Coffees both hot and cold range from simple to flavored, a pastry counter is filled with sweet delights, and hot foods for both breakfast, lunch, dinner and sandwiches can be ordered at the counter. A sister establishment is a courtyard on Bourbon Street with live music all day.
