We had a small coffee (not really good), tea and a croissant with egg and paid $20,--, which we think is to expensive. Still the atmosphere was nice and the croissant tasted ok. Internet was not available for guests.

The place was recommended by our tour guide the day before. The croissant was the best I ever had. The cafe au lait was good. The pastries they offer look beautiful. This will become a regular on my trips to New Orleans.

Quaint and beautiful shop in the French Quarter. The croissants are rich, flaky and buttery. Had a good cup of tea. Only criticism was my wife’s hot chocolate was weak. Would definitely stop by again on a future visit.

We always go here for Macarons, and they never disappoint. Great place to grab a treat. This place is away from the crowds, so it is a little walk but well worth it

If this is the best French patisserie in New Orleans, I will happily eat American pastries instead. Line was long and very slow for undercooked croissants and doughy raisin danish. Definitely not worth the wait or the prices.

We absolutely loved this place. We had breakfast there one morning and then stopped in for pastries one afternoon. We were too late for some of their breakfast items so had the quiche Lorraine, spinach quiche and the egg breakfast croissant. The decor is fabulous...More

For our last morning in NOLA wife and I wanted something light before driving home to Texas. This place fit-the-bill. It reminded us a little of our trips to Paris. The place was quaint, clean, and comfortable. its personnel most pleasant, and welcoming. We ate...More

While looking for a place to have coffee, a local in the area recommended Le Croissant d'Or. It's a lovely little shop with a beautiful courtyard in the middle. The croissants were outstanding. We tried the ham and cheese along with the almond. Light, flakey...More

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
