Well worth the trek from downtown, we enjoyed lunch on the veranda. A varied menu with items in a broad price range. I enjoyed the gumbo and especially my fried oyster poorboy.

Visiting the Audubon Clubhouse is a definite must! The food is some of the best I've had, we sat outside on the porch and the marvelous view/mushroom risotto convinced us to come back a few days later for lunch! Will definitely be frequenting.

As always, we enjoyed our meal. But there is no place better to sit outside on the veranda, look at the gorgeous, ancient oaks and the rolling greens, and sip iced tea, or at other times, a great martini. Today it's cool, but there's always...More
