an amazing PO-boy. lots of seating, medium priced. I eat here every time I'm in New Orleans. you will love it. easy to get to. Be aware of their bizarre hours they close at 4 pm. It was delicious.

A MUST when in NOLA. The wait is worth it. Go for lunch. Affordable, loaded with ingredients and toppings/sauces. Be ready to use a lot of napkins. I recommend to all who visit NOLA.

Unfortunately, made the trip from my hotel only to find that it is undergoing remodeling. Can't say when it'll be up and running but it does have a great reputation for one of the signature sandwiches of the Quarter, the Po'boy.

I was unable to eat here though it came highly recommended from one of the members of our party. As of the end of October 2015 this restaurant was closed due to a fire.

What a disappointment as there was a fire recently and the place was closed. On our last visit we ate at Johnny's and the Po-Boys were delicious, so of course we were looking forward to visiting again. When it reopens, make sure to go outside...More

I have read here that this was the best Po-boy at the city, and definitely it was. Place was simple and narrow, not very clean but the quality of the sandwich pays itself. You must go when visiting New Orleans. Huge variety of Po-boys. Try...More

These might have been the greatest Po-Boys in LA. The shrimp and the oyster Po-Boys were fantastic. This may be the best sandwich shop in LA. Just a heads-up, they take only cash.

Got a Johnny's French Dressed Sandwich. I thought it was an excellent sandwich while my wife thought it tasted like my roast beef with gravy on bread although not as good. I averaged out the grades. My only gripe is that they need to make...More

This place is so cool. Just the kind of little hole in the wall that I love to find. Shrimp po-boy can't be beat, and the red beans and rice are yummy. I go almost every time I'm in New Orleans.

Johnny's Po-Boys was right down the street from the hotel we stayed in (The Omni Royal) and was a great place to eat for breakfast and/or lunch. New Orleans is very pricey in the French Quarter, so it was great to have a place near...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied
around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Ugg. They need to get rid of the styrofoam in their restaurant. Not environmentally friendly. 😟
