This restaurant serves up some very tasty fine Southern cuisine. We had the fried crawfish tails and fried catfish nuggets with some shrimp as an appetizer and I had the turtle soup and crawfish bisque for dinner. The bisque reminded me I f my grandmothers...More

I selected this restaurant specifically for the Crabmeat Imperial. They were out of anything crabmeat or trout (my second choice). Went with crawfish etouffee & it was only acceptable. I make it better at home...thanks to Emeril.

Our fist meal was here and we came in for a late lunch. Friendly traditional service with good comfort food and signature dishes from this part of the world.

It's a lovely, QUIET place with good food. We were so disappointed that they didn't have soft shelled crabs and that was the reason we chose to eat there!! But it's had to find a quiet place so you can talk. Enjoyed it, our waitress...More

A short walk from the Hyatt I discovered this restaurant that looked very inviting. There was not a menu with prices posted by the door or on the window, which a lot of restaurants in the area do, so I didn’t know what to expect....More

First time at Bon Ton Cafe and entire meal was outstanding. From authentic turtle soup to most decadent red fish with crabmeat ever.

I loved everything about this restaurant from my waiter who gave an excellent redfish recommendation and twisted my arm into trying the bourbon bread pudding for dessert, to the charming ambience and friendly locals who eat there regularly.

Decided to have dinner somewhere close to our hotel and asked the hotel concierge. Bon Ton was recommended and we are so glad it was! Ordered the soft shell crab, and the waiter suggested I tried one fried and one specially prepared. It was delicious....More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

It was very close to our hotel, so we walked. There is some street parking, public parking lots. and in a pinch you could park in one of the nearby hotel lots/garages. No matter where you park, you will have a terrific meal.

The Bon Ton is open 5 - 9 PM, Monday through Friday. They won't let me put the URL here, but you can find the Web site; it's just bontoncafe.
