We ordered the shrimp Cesar salad and mesquite shrimp salad. They were just ok. The Cesar salad needed more dressing and both the salads' lettuce wasn't the best quality. Also, all the tables around us weren't bussed the whole time we were there. However, the mesquite salad's vinaigrette was excellent.

I really enjoyed the interior decor of this restaurant. The food seems to be seaford/ Mexican. Not bad food. Friendly attentive staff.

This place was packed with locals when we arrived on a Sunday. That continued the next 2 nights so something good was going on in this place. Families and couples of all ages were eating here. The décor was an eclectic mix of Tex-Mex photos, signs etc. The place was very clean, well run, friendly and fun. The food was... More

Make money that's cool. Don't gouge people. 16.00 drinks. "Special Madris Gras Menu" with super inflated prices. Many of the local favorites had been removed. Most entrees were 25.00 and above. It's cool to make a little extra but the prices were out of control. We left before we ate. We are headed to Ruth Chris to eat for the... More

This place is in a good location on St. Charles, and they have a nice bar along with a good selection of beer and tequila. The food is pretty good for Mexican food in New Orleans, but the prices are kind of high, and I suspect most of it is due to the location in uptown. If you're in for... More

The steak fajitas were mouth watering and the of course the margarita's are the best in town. Taylor was our server and she just had an amazing smile and was spot on with everything!

Take the Saint Charles street car right to the Superior Grill. Start with drinks and appetizers. The food is great and prices are reasonable. This is worth a short ride from the French Quarter.

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
