Carry out is best as there is room for only five seated. Excellent before or after next. Door Preservation Hall. Gyros sandwiches are the principle menuu item.

Got to the French Quarter late and this place was a short distance from the hotel, was open, and smelled amazing. We ordered Gyros to take back to our room and they were wonderful. The service was great here and the gyros were fresh and seasoned to perfection. What a great find and not real pricey. My gyro and Coca-Cola... More

Great Greek and Mediterranean fare , next to Pat Obrien's right in the heart of Bourbon street area. We had Gyros and Chicken Shawarmas - the food was fresh and great! We tried to get the owner to punch us ( kidding) but he said he was retired.

Stay clear of Ali BaBa if you value your health. I got sick...Montezuma Revenge sick...from eating one of their gyros.

We have been to Ali BA BA's on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The gyro is always seasoned to perfection and the fries are always hot out the grease. Whenever we are undecided about a place to grab a quick bit Ali BA BA's always comes through. A must taste! Best gyro in The Quarter!

Just looking for a quick bite to eat after a few hurricanes. This was the only place on Bourbon with good clean healthy food at a decent price for a quick bite. The gyros are filled with meat, the staff are friendly, and the prices are incredibly fare. We went back for lunch the next day.

We stopped in here almost every night - after a good night of drinking. And lunch one day. The gyros are fast, delicious and cheap. A must stop any time while on Bourbon.

I met this place hungry at my first night in New Orleans, and I had to eat at least 2 Shawarmas (or Gyros). They're perfect! Since then, I always come back in every visit to get fresh vegetables, good meat, and everything done with much quality and an amazing mediterranean tahini sauce. The original owner was a boxer and he... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
