A good restaurant to go to in Jackson Square of French quarter. Food is good, but not as great as Brennan's restaurant. We had 2 servers, Chris was excellent, but not the other guy.

A fun place to grab some food and enjoy a little Jazz. The convenient location makes this place a great spot for lunch

The maitre d, obviously proud of the place, told us to explore. Tucked amongst the several dining rooms we discovered a bordello, a room with not one but two sarcophagi, and their balcony. My advice to you is their advice to us: order drinks at...More

Great service, food, and drinks. The Pimm's Cup cocktail is one of the best. Shrimp Creole was fantastic and my dining companion loved her Wood Grilled Beef Tenderloin salad.

I was a bit disappointed in this trip to Muriel's. I have always found them above average in the past but this outing proved to be only average. The duck was so-so but the arancini were outstanding. My wife loved her fish dish, though. I...More

+ Nice atmosphere, professional service (especially a very nice and witty guy called Ryan) + Great cocktail + Amazing location and beautiful building - Way too expensive for the quality of food. I had a vegetable pie which honestly was very mediocre. It tasted very...More

Went here for a family lunch, and it was delicious! The food was so good. The service was fantastic, and the mimosas were perfection. Highly recommend!

We did not plan on this stop today, but can’t be happier that we gave Muriel’s a try. A beautiful building and friendly environment. We enjoyed the 3 course brunch menu, including Gumbo, grilled fish with shrimp and bread pudding for dessert. The specialty drinks...More

The atmosphere was really nice and the food was pretty good. I do recommend the crawfish and goat cheese crepes. However the service was unlike any we have ever experienced. We were enjoying our time there when we were approached to address “our complaint about...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

Not sure if there is any formal code, but my party did not wear sports coats or ties, but did wear collared shirts and long pants. I did however observe another diner wearing a t-shirt.

Pretty lax, I would recommend at least a collared shirt or a button down (no sneakers) for a man, something nice, dress, or classy jeans and top for a women, no flip flops.

The Bistro at Muriel’s Jackson Square offers New Orleans classics like Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp, Oysters "Muriel", Turtle soup, Fried Gulf Shrimp Po-boy, Crabmeat Imperial, Shrimp Remoulade & contemporary Creole cuisine like Pecan Crusted Drum & Wood Grilled Tuna while the Courtyard Bar is the perfect place to drop by for drinks & appetizers. The Séance Lounge is the place for a relaxed, comfortable meeting before or after dining. The Inner Séance is the preferred domain of the resident ghost, Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan, & is the perfect spot for an intimate conversation & a drink amongst its plush surroundings.
