The restaurant & the staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the banter with the host & all of the food. Small quaint shop that turned out to be the best value for our $ in all of the Quarter.

Good thing we didn't have anything planned the evening we stopped by because the food took close to 45 mins to be served from the time we ordered. The food was good but not the greatest. The best thing about this restaurant was the decor; as you can surmise by the name, all the decor was Mona Lisa!

The atmosphere and service was great. The starter salad was terrific, very fresh and the bread was warm. I ordered Eggplant parmesan, one piece of the eggplant was perfect, but the other pieces had no parmesan and the marinara sauce was sorely lacking seasoning. My partner ordered veal, it was good, but again, the sauce was just so bland. Oversized... More

My husband and I enjoyed our first visit here. This is a quiet, casual place you can have a conversation and a great meal. The portions were generous and our waitress was excellent. The Mardi. Gras Pasta was delicious. The prices were reasonable, especially for the area.

Convenient to everywhere in the French Quarter, we tried Mona Lisa's because we wanted a place with vegetarian options. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Wine by the bottle and the glass at reasonable prices too. We had the vegetarian pizza. While it's hard to go wrong with melty cheese, the crust was quite good too, which really set it apart... Had pizza again at this his store. The pizza was a 12 out of 10. Have had a little issue back a few visits ago. Almost always consistent, with very good staff!! A must do for the Quarter.

This is a cute VERY small restaurant. There is no place to wait for a table except to stand outside. We were a party of five and had to split up in order to eat. We were perfectly willing to squeeze together at a table and the waiter was fine with it. But as we were getting settled the owner... More

This is an amazing little secret in the French quarter. They have amazing Italian food and being Italian that says a lot. The garlic bread is out of this world. They are very family friendly and it's fun to draw on the table cloth and look at all the different Mona Lisa's.

Thank Anna M

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
