This restaurant is less than one block from the hotel we stayed at. We were seated quickly and immediately introduced to our 4-person wait staff. Food was wonderful as was our entire experience! We can now cross "eating at Emeril's" off our Bucket List! Thank...More

This place did not disappoint. I was concerned about it being a celebrity chef spot, but it is not your typical such spot. Service was outstanding, and food was wonderful. We had a party of 4, and everyone was delighted. Recommend BBQ shrimp, drum fish,...More

We enjoyed our meal so much that we came back again the next night. Our waiter, Tim, gave good advice on the dishes to choose. Crawfish stuffed clams made a tasty starter followed by andouille-crusted gulf drum-a moist white fish in a crunchy crust, on...More

I visited NOLA 15 years ago and loved it. I brought my wife back to New Orleans and took her to Emeril's. A disappointing way to spend a birthday. His reduction sauces are killing quality food.Time to get his game back on?

The food is pretty good, to be expected from Emeril but service both here and at his other restaurant Meril's is far from good. Most of the staff has this pompous attitude that they are the best in the industry when in reality they are...More

My first night in NOLA was a Monday and a chance to dine at Emeril’s before the hustle and bustle of my convention. I was greeted at the door and whisked to my table where servers quickly pulled appropriate linen based on the color of...More

The meal was decent but given Emeril's reputation and my expectations, I was disappointed. The food was only adequate. The wine list is absurdly extensive. More absurd, there's no wine steward and the servers can't help. You're on your own. An enormous waste.

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and

Opened in 1990 by Chef Emeril Lagasse in New Orleans, Emeril's Restaurant serves his signature style of "New New Orleans" cuisine, featuring the best local and regional seasonal ingredients. Nestled in a renovated pharmacy warehouse on Tchoupitoulas Street in the heart of the city's Warehouse District, Emeril's interior features rustic exposed brick and glass walls flanking one side of the main dining room, with plaster-lathe wood forming a wine wall on the other. Guests may enjoy watching the action in the kitchen while enjoying a meal at the chef's Food Bar.
