Had been for lunch several times and always memorable. Decided to come for dinner. Most certainly was not disappointed. Came ona Friday night and the dining room was sparse. If you pop in don't be fooled by that. Chef Diego is a magician in the...More

I really enjoyed my dinner dish but some at the table were not happy. I have the oysters, GOOD and the Shrimp Bienville, delicious! The caesar salad, gumbo, steak was ok.

Six friends decided to splurge and have dinner here. The elegant restaurant allows casually dressed diners, so we felt relaxed. The service was friendly and entertaining, the food quite good and the wine and drinks as well. Although our table was near the Carousel Bar,...More

We made reservations. The service was excellent, they never let our drinks get below 1/2 full. Server recommended stuff shrimp which we got and it was excellent. We also got the seafood linguini which was not so good. Somewhat bland. Scallops tough. We got the...More

We could not believe the rating of this restaurant. The breakfast was pretty tasteless except for the bacon. The dinner was so bad we sent it back, went up to our room and ordered a pizza. Never again.

We only ate breakfast there, and it was great. Server was attentive and friendly. Only a few people in the restaurant when we arrived. A little pricey but worth it.

The food was similar to anything you can get at any tourist restaurant in NOLA. THE SERVICE was rushed. I was not finished and my entire table was cleared, including the roll I was eating.

The food at Criollo was delicious and a good size (I like a reasonable dish-size and not too big). The tastes of creole and Cajun are a delight. I was particularly looked after as a solo eater by my serving staff. I'd like to compliment...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Breakfast is casual. We did not eat dinner there but did have drinks at the bar and lounge. We did not see anyone in very casual clothing. So if not long pants then dress shorts. Hope this helps.
