What a disappointment this meal was. This is a highly rated restaurant. So when we sat down and it took nearly 15 minutes to be waited on I was wary. Our server was surly. Thankfully Isaac came to our rescue and brought our drinks and...More

We sat at the bar and Ian took great care of us. The service was excellent and the meal (Cajun tuna) was incredible! Ian's cocktail knowledge was very impressive and we enjoyed talking to him.

There is no way to order wrong here. Each course was so thoughtfully prepared. A party of 6 could only beg each other to taste what they had, so impressed. The wine list is pricy, but a lot of options. Excellent gluten free options too.

My group of six enjoyed both appetizers one night and Sunday brunch. The food was terrific, especially the BBQed oysters at happy hour and the french toast at brunch. But be prepared to pay - brunch a la carte (the buffet wasn't offered) was $60...More

We ordered several appetizers and made a meal out of them. We wanted to taste everything. The dinner was great and the service was amazing.

Ambience of the restaurant is wonderful. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and attentive. I wasn’t wowed by the food enough to want to go back. We had the beignets and they were good. Scallops and foie gras were good as well. My husband had tuna...More

After going to a few other 'top' New Orleans restaurants, we decided to take our group to R'evolution. And boy was it wonderful. The service was fantastic (although the bartender must have been overworked as the drinks a long time to come out) - very...More

One of the reasons my husband and I regularly visit NOLA is to eat- there's no food scene quite like the one in The Crescent City, and there are many fine restaurants. That being said, it's a BIG deal when I say a meal is...More

Great friendly service, nice atmosphere and some unique meal selections. All four of us ordered something different and sampled each others dish - all were excellent. My rack of lamb was huge and it was cooked perfectly - medium-rare. Quite an extensive wine list and...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

I would think a collared shirt and dress shorts should be OK. You should strongly consider adding shoes to the mix, too. :)

Yes, not well set up for children and very busy bar. This is a dressy high end establishment. I would try someplace else.

Serving Lunch on Fridays, Dinner nightly and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Restaurant R'evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs' interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as "the swamp floor pantry." Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying. Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.
