We came to Restaurant R'evolution to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The staff was incredible, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was a bit expensive, but well worth it for a special occasion. The crab beignets and fire roasted oysters were excellent...More

Wow! We had a fantastic evening! We were there on a Monday so they weren't very busy. Service was exceptional! The Crab Beignet's with 5 different sauces was wonderful! I had the Red Fish Orleans and my husband had the Braised Short Ribs. Both were...More

I tried the chef's tasting menu in order to get a good overall feel for the food and vibe of the restaurant. Though it was excellent, compared to others of similar style and price, it does not get my highest rating. 2 of the 5...More

The service was impeccable. Scott and his team were on point all night and definitely made us feel special. The food was delicious. Try the quail and the sea scallops with foie gras.

Probably one of the best meals we have had in NO. "Sam" was very attentive and helped us find a favorite wine for a reasonable price. The service was the best and of course the food was awesome.

I have been the r'evolution three times and each time they have wowed me. The food is impeccable and has a creative Cajun gourmet flare. The service is amazing, especially Rory. He makes the meal fun and informed.

I highly recommend this restaurant. If I had to choose what was my favorite dish, it would have to been turtle soup with deviled quail eggs. Delicious !! Had a GREAT birthday !! Thank you so much.

Stopped here after deciding to change our existing dinner plans to dine one last time in the French Quarter. So glad we did. Food was amazing. The crab beignets were the highlight.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

I would think a collared shirt and dress shorts should be OK. You should strongly consider adding shoes to the mix, too. :)

Yes, not well set up for children and very busy bar. This is a dressy high end establishment. I would try someplace else.

Serving Lunch on Fridays, Dinner nightly and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Restaurant R'evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs' interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo, po' boys, and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as "the swamp floor pantry." Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying.Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.
