When in New Orleans, there are so many dining choices. We were really happy we chose to go to Cochon. My husband had been before but I hadn't. We split a few different things. Honestly one of our favorite were the Parker House style rolls...More

Cochon Restaurant is NOT to be confused with Cochon Butcher. (Although they are affliated.) Should you accidentally call the Butcher, a sarcastic unhelpful hipster will deliberately tell you that the Cochon Butcher takes no reservations. This is unfortunate and about as negative as I'm going...More

Finally went to Cochon after years of procrastinating! Sat in rear dining room where it was noticeably quieter than front room. Server was just ok, her helper was very personable and attentive and water glasses always full. Maybe server was having a bad day or...More

Fish was very good, but not sure it was worth the price especially when you have to order sides separately. Got the mac and cheese side - delicious, lima beans were okay, the twice baked potato was only one half the potato and dry as...More

Try to sit at the grill. It's pretty cool to see the staff cook with the fire grill and see how things are behind the scenes right in front of you. I appreciate the communication and teamwork that goes into the meals. Get the fried...More

Our first dinner while spending a couple of days in New Orleans with my wife. The baked oysters were absolutely outstanding and the best we had during our trip and maybe in our life! I am rating the restaurant not as 'excellent' because I think...More

Have been to Cochon before and enjoyed it, but this was not as great as anticipated. Ordered ribs that were chewy. Really expected more, not just the price, but general ambience and attitude of wait staff. There are so many great restaurants in NOLA, that...More

We went to Cochon over Memorial Day weekend. We've been living in NOLA for the past 5 years and moving next month, so trying to fit in as many restaurants as possible our last few weeks here in the city! They had their special of...More

If you are looking for a cool space with a hip NOLA menu that's close to the traditional restaurants in the Quarter, Cochon is your #1 choice. Loved the pork cheeks starter and ham hock main. Chocolate Beignets are the dessert not to be missed....More

I'd really go 4.5, if I could. We headed here after visiting the WWII Museum (it's probably a 5 minute walk or so from there). We were visiting as a late lunch so, while it was crowded, we only had to wait a few minutes...More

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and

Yes! We saw a lot of families with children when we were there. We were also there fairly early for dinner... around 5 and it wasn't loud or crowded but when we finished about an hour or so later, it was starting to really... More

Hi Lalaine, I believe seeing it on the menu but perhaps served seasonally... They have magnificent customer service, I believe they would accomodate. Giving them a call would be best. Enjoy Cochon safe travels!

The menu has a very wide variety, so you may be able to find suitable choices right on the menu. However, it’s a fine restaurant, and I would expect that the chef would prepare food for you that suits your diet.
