Went for dinner. We had ribs to start - they were good. However, we weren't blown away by the mains e.g. pork shoulder. The served hyped my salad up and suggested it should come with starter as I would the extra need time to finish...More

We went for lunch while visiting NOLA and absolutely loved it! We had a reservation (the place filled up by 1pm) and the service was excellent. We had five dishes and they were all 10/10: baked oysters, fried alligator, pork boucherie/charcuterie plate, mac & cheese,...More

Had dinner at Cochon tonight. Ordered the crab claw appetizer special, a bowl of gumbo and the rabbit and dumplings. The crab claw appetizer and the gumbo were served at the same time. Definitely not optimum serving wise. The crab claws were excellent. The chili...More

Interesting variety of dishes on the menu but food was very good. We shared fried alligator, wood-fired oysters, ribs, pork cheek and grilled broccoli salad - all delicious. Good atmosphere and good service. Well worth a visit.

Amazing food! I had the catfish courtbouillon and mac and cheese, both amazing. I didn’t have to wait long for a seat at the bar, but if there was one bad part about the experience it is just how crowded Cochon is. If you don’t...More

Nice room - alive and attractive - with a nice level of energy. The menu is a little difficult to navigate but the servers are very helpful. I was surprised to not see fried chicken on the menu for Sat night but then realized afterward...More

This restaurant has a good selection of food options. Good service and nice restaurant. The food isn't special but nothing to complain about. However, for the price, which isn't cheap, I think you can do better.

This is not the typical New Orleans place with the New Orleans style of food...and presentation. This is a scaled down, simple-decor, casual place for jeans or sports coats. The food is original Cajun with a twist. The beer is great with predominantly local crafts....More

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing

moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and

It's always busy because the food quality is so good. It's not a big place so I would book to be on the safe side.

I don't think that you'll need it. I don't remember that the on- street parking was crowded. The restaurant is easily walkable from downtown hotels. And the food is so good, walking off the calories is a good idea!
