I was here for lunch with business contacts. It is rather loud as it's so popular (thankfully I had booked). I had the fried alligator which was delicious. The portions are not huge so it's worth considering having a side (I'm based in Europe so...More

We really enjoyed our dinner so much, so we decided to come back for a second meal. The grilled oysters are just fabulous with some chili oil and I ordered it both times. I had the Smoked Pork Ribs with Watermelon Pickle the first time...More

We found Cochon to be a nice counterpoint to our meal at its sister restaurant (Peche) the night before. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere and relaxed setting. The smoked pork ribs and rabbit dishes were the overall standouts in our opinion. Well crafted comfort food and...More

The restaurant has expanded dramatically since our last visit about three years ago. The menu focuses on meat- beef and pork- with some limited fish. My wife had the baked triple tail with a side of smothered greens in with ham t bits. She also...More

We made reservations for lunch, which we did not end up needing because the place is deceptively large, but it did fill up by the time we were finishing. The mac and cheese was very good and my fiance really enjoyed his ribs. It is...More

On our first night in New Orleans, we followed the advice of friends and went to Cochon. Because we are not heavy dinner eaters, we split the Smoked Ham Hock dish, which was superb. We also had Key Lime Pudding for dessert--also excellent. Service was...More

Good Cajun cookin'. Loud and rambunctious. Food was home style Cajun and prepared very well. Good drinks list and very good wine list. Wait staff very attentive and knowledgeable.

The food was just ok. The service was excellent, but I rate places based on how the food is. It was overpriced and the flavor profiles were not that exciting. My sister got the fish, that looked to be the best dish at our table...More

We recently had lunch at Cochon with our grown daughters. The food and service were exceptional; we ordered nearly all the appetizers to share. The alligator bites were fabulous! I had the braised short ribs and they were tender and tasty. We waged the meal...More

I went there on a Sunday, with no expectations at all! To my surprise, it was a delightful experience. The food was a delicious but prepared very delicate. I can say this, because the alligator was exquisite! The plates where big, but not huge. The...More

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having

warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,
ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old
brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and

Hi Lalaine, I believe seeing it on the menu but perhaps served seasonally... They have magnificent customer service, I believe they would accomodate. Giving them a call would be best. Enjoy Cochon safe travels!

The menu has a very wide variety, so you may be able to find suitable choices right on the menu. However, it’s a fine restaurant, and I would expect that the chef would prepare food for you that suits your diet.
