Too noisy, uncomfortable seating. Enjoyed sea dogs last year, but greasy blobs now. $15/person for dog, drink, and tip???

We really enjoyed Frenchmen Street. We listened to an old school NOLA band right outside Dat Dog. Fast, friendly service, and giant PBR beers.

We had the Duck Sausage and the Alligator Sausage. It was AWESOME! What a great Local Gem! Loved the place and the atmosphere! We will definitely be back to try more of the food. Have nothing but good things to say about this place!

Great hot dogs! Pricey, but good. Love that you can build your own and that there so many types of hot dogs to choose from! Not a must-visit, but it is good!

A group of us went here (recommend by the tourist office). It's in the Frenchman street area. Sat on the balcony and listened to the live music in the middle of the street. The food was good. Great selection. The only negative was they would not accept our Uk driving license to serve alcohol ... (we were ages 30 to... More

After going thru a phase of watching the food network constantly talk about hot dogs, I craved a crispy snappy hot dog so bad. I wasn't disappointed. Granted it is expensive ($30 for 2 people), but it's definitely a good dog. Bacon, cheese, sour cream and mustard. Go for it!

Upon arriving in NOLA, our first stop was Dat Dog, we were in the French Quarter trying to find it with mapquest, kept going around in circles! Our determination finally paid off. DatDog specializes in gourmet dogs and they will not disappoint! I had an Alligator dog and Randy had a Crawfish dog, they were both amazing. We went on... More

Sausages and hot dogs...great selection to go with a cold brew, soft drink and fries. Better than fast food but also a little more costly. Definitely worth a light lunch before a late dinner.
