Waiter was gracious, food was hazardous. Famous fried chicken was raw in the middle. No exaggeration.

After waiting almost 2 hours we finally received a complimentary salad from the waitress. The waitress did her best to accommodate us for the very late order of chicken. My mother ordered 2 pieces of chicken and fried pickles. The chicken was very cold and seemed as though it had set out for a while. Her fried pickles was fried... More

The restaurant just re-opened a few weeks ago, after suffering a fire. And you can tell the the staff is still getting back into it. The fried chicken, fried green tomatoes and mashed potatoes were all excellent, with the homemade taste people look for. It's technically an Italian restaurant but everyone we saw was ordering the fried chicken and other... More

Service could not have been worse. We ordered, waited 45 minutes, was told our food would be right out, after 15 minutes more was told it would be 20 minutes more. We told them we were leaving. They tried to charge us for the food that was not even cooked yet. When i paid for the 2 five dollar bloody... More

Had some fried chicken - it is their signature dish. Honestly it is great. Unfortunately the place overall is not so great. We also had a salad we sent back - the tomatoes were wrinkled and ready for the trash - the salad was sent back as unacceptable. The server was very sweet but could not get anything right. We... We found this place on accident, and the host at the podium outside talked us in. We are so glad he did!! My husband said their fried catfish was the best he ever had, and my seafood gumbo was sensational! We've already recommended this place to several people, and plan on going back ourselves next time we're in town.

Had lunch here today! Couldn't wait to try their famous fried chicken. The building had suffered a total loss due to a fire. But they are back better than ever. The new decor is amazing and the food is just fabulous and very reasonably priced. Gotta try it❤

Made just the way I would but without the messy kitchen. Also had a very good salad to split. Don't miss!

You must try the fried chicken. That's what they are famous for. They cook it from scratch, but it's worth the wait.

I've had good fried chicken in several places, but I've never had better fried chicken than this hole in the wall restaurant near the French Market in New Orleans. You may have to search a bit to find them (head towards the end of the block, near the Mint), but trust me, it's worth it. Fiorella's fried chicken will forever... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
