We came here to get a quick break from seafood. Small place with a short menu. The food was absolutely perfect! The hostess and staff were so professional from the beginning to the end. Our waitress however was staggering all over the place, had to...More

We were fortunate to grab the last two barstools on a rainy day, and we stayed on them for 3+ hours. Time and money well spent! Chris, the bartender, was superb. He made perfect bloody Mary's, two more excellent cocktails off the menu, and then...More

Started off with a fabulous Bloody Mary and a Milk-punch before tackling the Shrimp Dumpling, Black-eyed Pea Cake, the grits and the Scrambled Toast. There is an amazing outdoor area, but was too cold this time. Just a really fun, non-touristy type place. You will...More

The concierge at our hotel suggested Sylvain- said it was a favorite. Sylvain is in a very old but renovated building near St. Louis Cathedral. The server started with champagne on the house to celebrate our anniversary. How did they know?!?!? Then we had a...More
