4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW via mobile

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We decided to eat at the bar, where we efficiently greeted by the bartender. They make their own Bloody Mary mix from scratch (not tomato juice) and it was delicious. Food was good, if a tad pricey. I'd definitely go back.

This is a very nice restaurant with a very good menu. I loved the chilled gulf shrimp appetizer. The grilled hanger steak entree was very good too. The atmosphere inside was very nice and relaxing. Not noisy or cramped. Overall we had a great meal.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in New Orleans. The restaurant is set back a bit from the street and has both indoor and outdoor seating. My friends and I split a bunch of appetizers including the fried eggplant & burrata to start, short rib, beef cheeks and pappardelle bolognese which was to die for!

If I could do 4.5, I would. We will definitely be back next time in NOLA. But have to give one strike for my steak waiting in the window a little too long. They made up with after dinner drinks on the house. It was cooked properly and tasty, but just wasn't at its peak when I got it. The... More

Some of the best food we ever ate. I had the scallops. Delicious. My wife ordered a hamburger and said it was one of the best meals she ever ate. Yes, you read it right. A hamburger.

I made reservations here for our first night in NO. Being our first time in NO we did not realize how SLOW the streetcars run and how BIG the city is so we were over a half hour late. The restaurant called us to conform we were still coming and bless them for holding the reservation. We basically ran there... More

We started with the Smoked Fish Fritters, which were a little spicier than expected but delicious nonetheless. My husband had the steak while I opted for the beef cheeks. We felt both of our dishes were absolutely delicious and filling. For dessert, he had the peanut butter ice cream oatmeal cookie, which he thought was amazing. I had the pot... More

Dined in the late evening in their quaint courtyard. There are 4 tables to the rear courtyard, (we sat in the far back side) which makes for a nice evening under the stars. The courtyard is a little bit dark, would have been nice to see our food a little more. I ordered the fish balls, they were pretty good.... More

This restaurant is one of my favorites, if you are not looking for it you will pas it by. The food is second to none in NOLA. The chef is awesome, very nice to talk to. Drinks and atmosphere are over the top. Make sure and give the restaurant a go!

Thank Mark M

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
