We tried this place on our first morning, and ended up coming back all 3 mornings. I had the southern breakfast every morning, eggs and bacon were delicious, the biscuits are to die for. And they have this amazing molasses butter. Coffee is delicious as...More

The Ruby Slipper offered a welcoming atmosphere, great service and delicious food! You definitely get what you pay for - the servings are fairly big. Mimosas are a must-try!

Found on a handful of corners and side streets is, The Ruby Slipper Café. Old-style Southern Breakfast and Lunch cooked at its finest. With many options to choose from I had to ask the waitress to come back and give me a few more minutes...More

Had breakfast here - pancakes are very good. The server we had was friendly and accurate. You might have a wait, but it's worth it!

I would have given a 5 star review except we had to wait over 2 hours--even though our projected time was an hour. And many groups of similar size went in first. They use apps to help with the wait list and merge it somehow...More

Finally had a chance to stop in on the 3rd day of my trip(I arrived on the weekend and the line was wrapped around the corner both days). I was seated immediately at the bar and my server (sorry, I was horrible with remembering names...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
