Watered down coffee, over cooked eggs, blah seasoning. Can't speak on the place for lunch or dinner but breakfast was a let down compared to Ruby Slipper down the street.

Whenever we are in New Orleans, we always go to Daisy Duke's for at least one breakfast. Good prices, fast service, and excellent food!

We have eaten at DD many times during our frequent trips to New Orleans. They have good food and excellent service with reasonable prices. We usually eat breakfast there but on our most recent trip on April 24, 2017 we ate lunch. The onion rings and fried green tomatoes were excellent. My wife had a shrimp poboy that was more... More

If you are looking for fancy, there are plenty of higher end places to sit down and have breakfast. If you are looking for quick, cheap, and good, this is your place. We have been frequent DD diners on the fly because they are very inexpensive (really, not just compared to other places in NOLA) and have good quick food.... More

We ate breakfast here almost every day of our vacation, and it was unfailingly good every time. The eggs were done exactly as ordered, service was quick and friendly. A great option for breakfast at a good price.

We had breakfast at Daisy Duke's one morning during a 4-day stay in the French Quarter. The decor was a bit tired - kind of grubby-looking and the upholstery was torn at several tables, including ours. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was just OK- standard breakfast fare. My scrambled eggs were a little runny, but every one... More

As expected at most good restaurants there was a slight wait or breakfast. It was worth it. Its a small spot but the service was good. The seafood omelet looked good from the beginning so we had to try it.We were very happy with our choice.

I get the theme, southern rustic country but daisy dukes could use a bit of a face lift... A good cleaning, repair the ripped cushions. After watching restaurant nightmares I was concern about my ice cubes, as I watched an employee clean/push water down the drain in front of the ice machine. The machine on the outside just a bit... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
