This was the only restaurant we ate at more than once while we were in NOLA. Partly because the stuffed mushrooms were TO DIE FOR and partly because the cocktails are very good, as well. The hostesses were a hoot, and service was great.

Stopped in for a drink and stayed for dinner. We had both raw and char-grilled oysters, delicious and shucked while you watch at the bar. You have to try the crab in Cajun sauce. You'll be licking the plate.

We were in New Orleans for a family wedding and needed an easy place for Lunch. We happened upon this place with the big windows opening onto the street and the great bar ready for a crowd. The staff are friendly and professional - I am sure they have seen it all on the corner that the restaurant sits on.... More

Great seafood pasta. In fact the best we have ever had! Great ambience and the waiter was very polite and professional. There was live music playing across the road which was perfect because it left us being able to talk without too much noise. The surroundings and also very pretty.

Arrow & Joe were the best servers we've had on our whole trip! We had a few drinks & appetizers, then moved on to another place. However our appetizers & drinks were very good!

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a bite to eat. Service was great and drinks came quickly but when our salad showed up, it had clearly been sitting for a long time. A really, really long time. We paid for our drinks and left.

Robert, I'm glad to hear about the highlights of your visit. As for the salad it should never have left the kitchen. We make our salads fresh to order and that one did not sound fresh and for that I do apologize. If you are in the area please give us another try on the food. Thank you. More

Its always difficult in a heavy tourist town to find truly great food. This is a reasonably priced place that does great oysters( as they should be) My seared blackened Cajun tuna however was a disappointment when it arrived cool. When you are going to just sear this dish it must go strait to the table from the grill. Staff... More

The food was decent however definitely not worth the price! Most expensive drink we got all day and weakest. I got an appetizer and very little food and cost more than my husbands po'boy. His was good but definitely could have found much cheaper elsewhere. We sat on the balcony which had great views however was very small so we... More

I'm sorry for your poor experience. Our building is very old so the balcony is kind of tight. We could have gotten you a table right beside the balcony for more room and comfort. As for the prices we are comparable to any other nice restaurant in the french quarter. Once again I am sorry for your poor experience. If... More

It was our first time in New Orleans and we were pleasantly overwhelmed with its personality. This is such a beautiful and busy city yet charming and over the top friendly with city pride of the locals it is amazing. There are so many restaurants to choose from and complicated with the advice of friends and research, but we took... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
