I had the eggs benedict for breakfast and found them to be tasty and well prepared. This is one of the dishes that I use from hotel to hotel as a benchmark for the quality of their other dishes. I wasn't disappointed!

Eggs Benedict is my dish. I get everywhere I travel if it's offered. This is the second best one I've had behind the one at the Conrad Chicago (the old one). Wife had the avocado toast with salmon. She loved it as well. I don't like to always eat at the same spot twice while on vacation but I think... More

Our first breakfast in the Big Easy was here at the Roosevelt Hotel. Lovely seating in this restaurant and fabulous food. Their beignets are better than those at Cafe Du Mond, in my opinion.

This restaurant is located in the Roosevelt Hotel. The food is great but you pay for it. Try the Avocado sandwich. It is the best. Great wait staff.

The breakfast is outstanding. Get the Full American, it is enough for 2 or 3 people, but WOW. The pancakes are addictive!!

We forgot to make a dinner reservation, and NOLA was a very busy town that night, so we chose to stay in the hotel and have dinner in their lounge. What a great choice it turned out to be! The service was wonderful and the food was plentiful, beautifully presented, and the taste was excellent! The charred Caeser salad was... More

We tried the Fountain Lounge once for a late dinner and twice for breakfast - be prepared to wait, even when the restaurant is nearly empty! Despite allowing an hour for breakfast and telling our server when we ordered that we had time constraints, it still took over 45 minutes to get our food. Some of it was hot, some... More

We came for the music but could not resist ordering the brownie. It was absolutely delicious. The house band was amazing. The wait staff was courteous and professional. We shall return.

While the Roosevelt Hotel says that check in time is 3:00, often rooms are not available and you have to wait. The Fountain Lounge would be a good place to have a cup of coffee, a drink, and some food, but, they don't serve food until 4:00PM. So, you have to leave of the "grandest" hotels in New Orleans to... Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
