On our last night in New Orleans visiting our daughter we ended up taking her to the Tulane ER because the hostess who took our food order forgot to tell the kitchen to leave the pine nuts off our order of kale chips. When I...More

We ate here during a quick trip to New Orleans, and I thought it was very good. We had our hotel concierge to reserve a spot—reservations definitely recommended on a Friday night. Service was excellent. Our waiter was observant of our Lent dietary restrictions, suggesting...More

We went here on the concierge recommendation that this was "the best Italian in town". Not so much. The hostess and waitress were very nice and attentive. We also brought our 2 year old daughter, so the place is kid friendly. The ambiance is nice...More

Beautiful restaurant in the Roosevelt Hotel. During happy hour, most wine and beer, some cocktails and all pizzas are half off. Very elegant, art filled, high ceilinged dining room, but we had kids along and felt comfortable. Clam pizza was amazing. Fried kale could change...More

The squid ink pasta and the octopus are both a must try! The service too was great too- we ran a little late for our reservation, but called to let the restaurant know and they had our table available when we arrived! Must appreciated.

I've been here twice on my visits to NOLA, and it has not disappointed me yet. As a NJ pizza eater, it's hard to find pizza that compares. Domenica makes it right - unique but delicious toppings on a nicely tossed crust, cooked rusticly. So...More

I love Domenica! I’ve been coming for years whenever I’m in town for a meeting. Even sitting alone is entertaining. It’s loud and boisterous, even on St Patrick’s Day! I had an endive salad and rigatoni, in that order. Perfectly cooked pasta! I only wish...More

I stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel where this restaurant is located. On a Wed night, I went in for a table for one. They said it would be about "40 min," and they could text me. The bar was crowded, and I'm not a "loner-at-the-bar"...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Domenica is a contemporary and inviting Italian restaurant that creates regional Italian dishes with southern and middle eastern influences. The cuisine combines Chef Alon Shaya's Israeli heritage and love of local ingredients with a menu that reflects his time spent cooking and living in the small towns of northern Italy.
