K and I really like to have Saturday breakfast here. Rick and Denise have made Colonial a comfy and homey place similar to my Granny's kitchen. Parking is on the street or down two blocks but worth the walk. The have great pancakes but K just loves the waffles with extra crispy bacon. Me, I go for 2 eggs over... More
This is a smallish place with homey decorations and very good food. I had eggs, sausage, and pancakes. It was all very good. The coffee cup was never empty and I appreciate that. Friendly staff and quick service. Reasonably priced. We were there at 730 and it wasn't very busy.

We went at 1:30 and it was busy but luckily we were seated right away. I decided to try the country fried breakfast which was 2 3" country fried steaks, 2 eggs, potatoes,... More

We went at 11:45 because members of our group wanted lunch while others wanted breakfast. The menu is extensive, but the food is just average. It is not bad, just not outstanding.
Not a bad little place to stop for brunch. Friendly service, clean. Pretty good food. Not a 5 star dining experience but didn't go in expecting one.

They weren't busy after the lunch rush ended, so we had an opportunity to chat with the owner. We loved the ambiance. Home made quilts and souvenir plates adorn wood plank walls. Our server was excellent... More
