I work downtown and many times I go over to the Ohio for lunch. The food is excellent and you will be in the oldest bar in Arkansas established in 1905 and the former hangout of Al Capone. Great burger and fantastic Rubens.

This bar has a great environment and decor from long ago. Tells a lot of history from hot springs in the gangster days. The staff was very friendly and did a great job especially since the place was packed. It's right next door to the...More

Since we are from Ohio, we just had to stop here. It is rich in history and gangsters. The solid one piece mahogany bar wall was an unbelievable feat. The story of getting here from Cincinnati was amazing.

We ate burgers, enjoyed the drinks, efficient service, and Wednesday evening live music. Our waitress even helped us move to a better table for viewing the entertainment.

What a fun restaurant! The history of the place, the cool bar and the good service make this a great restaurant for lunch, dinner or a large group. The food is good and the ambiance is fun.

We had been to the Ohio Club before but only for drinks. It is a lovely place and the bar is magnificent. We specifically went there to eat this time because of the reviews. The hamburgers were decent, certainly not the best we ever had....More

We stopped in for a late meal and something to do. We ended up staying through two sets of music. Great experience. I ordered the Reuben. These can be hard to get right. But the Ohio club nailed it. Great crunch on the rye bread,...More

Friendly staff, ok menu with decent food. On a Saturday evening, non-attentive service for many. Long bathroom lines and not inexpensive prices. The atmosphere is good and lively.More

A lot of history in this bar and it shows. The mahogany bar is beautiful, the bartenders attentive, plus the beer and the burgers are good.

Stopped on a Saturday afternoon and as luck would have it 2 patrons were leaving as we were walking in, so we were able to grab a seat at this famous bar. The Ohio Club is the oldest continuously operating bar in Arkansas. The Mahogany...More

We have some great salads when ordered without the croutons will fit the bill and any of our burgers can be ordered without the bun and a side salad for another great option.

Description
Arkansas' oldest bar. Step back in history and have a drink where the likes of Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, Al Jolson, Mae West and a host of others have. We have won People Choice awards for our Hamburgers and our Reubens have been reported to be the best they have ever had. We keep our menu simple but high quality. We have live music 7 nights a week with Blues on Wednesday nights, Jazz on Thursday night and classic rock on the weekends. The Ohio Club Players are our house band and have been a Hot Springs favorite. Non smoking and open at 11am every day until 2am.
