I came here multiple times during my stay in Sidemen. Enjoyed every meal and the free sweetie was such a nice surprise. I loved the deep fried banana. The family who runs Joglo were always so welcoming with a big smile everytime :)
I have been coming back to Sidemen for a couple of years now and there are many reasons why I keep coming back to Joglo D' Uma for both lunch and dinner. Not only are the staff very welcoming and friendly but the food is...absolutely amazing, both western and more importantly the amazing local fare.
My wife and I had the ayam betutu but they also serve bebek betutu, which is highly recommended, if you have the time. Otherwise the rest of the menu is most deliciously prepared and you can't go wrong.
Also, the view is absolutely wonderful!More
I had dinner twice here and ordered local specialities. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Do try the Babi Guling and Fish cooked in Banana leaves, delicious. Oh and the Arak Mohito too!
We spent 8 days in Sidemen, eating in most Warungs 1-3 times so able to compare.
Joglo was our first meal and we came back two more times just because the staff was so nice with us and our children. The views are great and...they have nice music in the evening creating a really cosy atmosphere.
However, we found some of the Indonesian base dishes quite boring compared to other places, this can be spiced up!More
It wasn’t bad at all , we tried some traditional dishes but it was a little dry . They try to make it less spicy for the tourists but here we didn’t taste a lot of spices. And i really like spicy food so if...I order a traditional spicy dish i want to taste it too. Anyway not bad but we ate traditional food better elsewhereMore
Popped in for lunch as we were staying nearby. Delicious food (chicken curry was really good, kids loved their fried noodles).
Friendly service, cold Bintang, good prices, reasonably fast service for this type of Warung and a beautiful setting overlooking gorgeous Sidemen Valley and Luah...Village.
Plus bonus Pisang Goreng for dessert. Oh and the Dadar Gulung was good too!
Would definitely return!
