We loved this restaurant in Pemuteran. The setting is really cozy with couches and cushions and it is surrounded by a beautiful garden. There is even a little shadowy corner with hammocks! The food was excellent with a nice variety of healthy, hearty salad bowls, curries, baguettes and burgers. I tried the Farmers choice salad bowl with pearl barley and wanted to lick the bowl out to get to the last of the dressing, it was so delicious! My friend had the Beef burger, which had a decent size pure beef patty (they make them from scratch), caramelized onion and lots of other good stuff. The country fries were also to die for, as was the chocolate cake and smoothy bowl we tried for dessert. We 100% recommend this restaurant for the setting, the food and the accommodating, friendly staff. The dive center on site, Bali Diving Academy, was also a nice bonus and we could arrange our snorkel trip while having our dessert!

Wow! This was a great surprise in the wonderful little oceanside town of Pemuteran. The bruschetta was incredible, as was the espresso drinks, but the real winner of my day was the Thai red curry (One Night in Bangkok) …AMAZING!!
The semolina cup, chia pudding, Karin’s chocolate cake, and the lemon cake were all ordered and split by our small group and all were fantastic…fresh and organic ingredients, all sourced locally.
Katherin, one of the proprietors, always has an infectious smile, and a great food or beverage recommendation! Enjoy!!

What to say except that everything is perfect at the sage bali 😍😍 the food is exquisite and full of flavors (I had a just delicious Indian curry and a poke bowl 😻).
And kadek in service is a love.
The value for money is unbeatable especially for a vegan restaurant of this quality.
You can go there with your eyes closed.

We even had dinner here two days in a row at the end of May 2022 because it is so comprehensively delicious. Service staff are quick and attentive and order is repeated to avoid misunderstandings (great!). Food is prepared quickly and very delicious (baguettes, curries, appetizers, desserts, yes we tried everything). You can tell the owner and staff have fun with their food concept, which is reflected in the quality of the food. Definitely try!

Gorgeous place, chilled out vibe, the most beautiful food and lovely attentive staff. Amazing value for money whether lunch or dinner, and a menu choice that suits all tastes and diets 😍 Highly recommended... do not miss The Sage if you are travelling anywhere near Pemuteran in north west Bali. Set back from main road, next to Bali Diving Academy🤿👏👏😍

Everything we tried at this cafe was delicious. The chicken burger, the poke bowl, the meatballs…
Delicious fresh juices and milkshakes too.

Yamm yamm yamm! I simply love the food!!!
I don't consider myself as a picky eater but I am vegetarian and the most of the Indonesian dishes don't agree with my stomach + their is also just a certain amount of rice you can eat😅
So when I found The Sage right next to the new location of Bali Diving and saw they had a lot of vegetarian dishes- especially a great variety of bowls, I had to try their food! But even my meat loving husband found his new favorite - the meatball sandwich😅
What can I say? We ended up eating there every day and will come back again at our next stay in Pemuteran. You truly taste the love and happiness the dishes are made with. Staff is really friendly and I love the tranquility of their wonderful garden. What more can you ask for?

Having just arrived in Pemuteran for five nights, Happy Cow led us here to The Sage and we're already sure this will be our go-to during our stay.
Really nice setting, ceiling fans and nice music with great staff. We enjoyed our conversation with Kadek Widiyanti who speaks excellent English and is really friendly and helpful. The chef understands vegan very well.
I had the 'chilli sin carne' and my partner had the vegan burger. The burger was great, I'll be ordering that myself soon, but the chilli was for me, absolutely perfect. I've had more than a couple of CCC's in my life and this was genuinely the best. Tons of flavour, perfect heat and great portion size. 10/10 for that.
We finished with a slice of lemon cake and apple cake each and while the lemon cake could be more lemony, the texture really satisfied that cakey craving we've been missing while travelling. Some may find them too heavy but not us
Pricing is really good for the size and quality of food we had. It's mid-range, and very worth it.
Can't wait to come back!

Great innovative cozy restaurant with plenty of healthy food options.
Loads of vegan choices with meat or fish add on options that will keep everyone happy.
The salad bowls are huge and really tasty and the curries to die for.
They have hammocks to chill on and the coffee is great too so it makes it the best hangout place in Pemuteran.
Kathryn, Karin and their team will make sure you are a happy happy customer.

We have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the Team always exceeded our expectations!
Meat eaters, vegetarian, vegans, there is something for everyone and all meals tasted delicious, made with fresh ingredients and definitely lots of care.
Good prices, great variety of drinks, desserts and lovely atmosphere.
Our number one choice in Pemuteran!

Not only was the food incredibly delicious but the staff super nice and friendly. We wouldn’t have guessed that the cook is actually a really skilled hobby-cook because the food is absolutely authentic, looks stunning and tastes sooo delicious.

We ate here twice for lunch and once for cake and coffee. The food is very healthy with lots of salads, and they use brown rice and beautiful wholegrain bread. The drinks were also great including interesting juice and soda combinations and smoothies. My favourite meal was the poke bowl with marinated fresh sashimi tuna. My partner enjoyed the chocoholic smoothie and espresso/banana/peanut butter combination. The lemon tree cake and chocolate brownie were sensational, and if you want a good coffee you'll find it here. The staff are friendly and the cafe is in pleasant surrounds with plenty of fans. I wish The Sage was round the corner from my place- I'd be eating here all the time!

The Sage in Pemuteran is a very nice restaurant where you can eat a perfect lunch or dinner. The staff welcomes you very friendly in a nice relaxed admosphere. The menu has a great variety of delicious and healthy food. If you are in Pemuteran it’s a must to visit them.
