We have eaten there 4 times so far and everything has been exceptional. The red chicken or seafood curry is superb, as is the chicken satay. It’s actually difficult to find good chicken satay but this place achieves it. The chocolate pot aka lava cake is soooooo good! It’s on a small residential street so fairly quiet and away from the main road. Everything is freshly cooked to order and the staff are friendly. Superb value too, as you might expect from a warung but for this quality it should cost more than it does. For two people you could easily get change from 200k with drinks, mains and 2 desserts. Highly recommended if you are in the area and worth travelling to if you are further away.

It's very sad to see a lot of tourism business closed down in this area. Many restaurants just went off the board and some still open but only few seats and no visitors. We give it a try to this warung, we passed the lunch hour and the warung was empty. We try the seafood green curry which turn out yellow from turmeric. It contains shrimp, fish and vegetables served with rice and thai sauce. The taste is okay to my liking. The jukut kelor on the other hand is the star of the day. It's like "sayur bening" topped with grilled shredded coconut and served with popocorn. I ate sayur bening since my childhood time, but this one is different, so flavorful and refreshing. The porsion is adequate, the staffs were attentive and the price is reasonable. It's worth the visit if you stay in Pemuteran or Sumberkima.

If you have got to this page, 1 milllllion percent visit this restaurant! I’ve lived in Bali for 2 years and the food here is one of the best meals I’ve had (including much more expensive places). Wayan served us and she’s super sweet and knew everything about the menu and helped us order changing items to be gluten free. The thai green papaya salad and black rice pudding were stand outs but all food was great!!! And the prices are so so good. We paid 200k for 2 entree, 2 main, dessert and 2 juices.

When I asked Nicolas, the boss of Arjuna Homestay, to recommend a warung as close as possible to the local cuisine (without going as far as Balinese street food which European taste buds have difficulty distilling the fire of spices , unless you have lost a bet) and farthest from tourist establishments, D BUCU came far ahead of his recommendations, and I can never thank him enough. Charming welcome, local cuisine but we are systematically offered to put the chili (the very famous - and very effective - sambal) on the side, mie or nasi goreng at 35,000 IDR, the most expensive dishes go up to 50,000 IDR. By having drinks, a main course and a dessert, we had an average of 500,000 IDR for 6, or around €5 per person. Hearty and really tasty dishes. It immediately became our canteen, lunch and dinner. From the main road of Pemuteran, take the small road which angles with the sign for the Taman Sari hotel then the small road on the left after 100 meters, D BUCU is about 50 meters away, on the left.

I have been to Pemuteran several times over the last 7 years of visiting this beautiful country. Im a huge foodie and also a chef. This restaurant compares to any 5 star restaurant in a major western city. The chef is creative and mixes traditional Balinese cooking with European and international cooking. The fish is always fresh off the boat and make sure you save room for dessert. Thank you chef. Ill be back again and again when I’m here.

i came here for dinner three weeks ago when i revisited Pemuteran. it close to where i stayed.D’ bucu means at the corner, cuz this warung is just located at the corner,it is tucked away from the main road. it is a local warung but targeted to tourists.i ordered ayam lalapan with rice, papaya juice and caramelised spice apple top with crumble and vanilla ice cream.all were good, ayam lalapan crispy, tangy, meat tender, very tasty, only the sambal not special, don't expect it spicy, for me,it is tomato sauce only, hope they can have a spicy one.papaya juice is just fine, the dessert is special, but a bit sweet for me.the price is good, close to local price. be noted that this warung is very popular,so you might find here full if you come at peak hours.beside indonesian and western food, they serve thai food also, may come again if stay around here.

After 6 weeks in the county we discovered this warung. First it is located on a very quiet street. The food of our first night was different, elaborated, but without unnecessary items or show. The taste was delicious. The waiter mentioned a grilled fish to be ordered 1 day in advance, we said ok for 2 people. Next evening a table was reserved for us. A girl left on a scooter with our fish between 2 grids, to be bbq! She came back maybe half an hour later, on the scooter, with our grilled fish. We got the fish dressed on a large plate, with cooked and raw vegetables. As it was too big for 2, they had removed the filets on one side, leaving plenty enough meat for us. The best fish we've had during this trip. Tasty, nice spicy Bali sauce. No one could tell us its name (better than mi-mai)

This was a fabulous little Warung with the most delicious food! My family ate here 2 nights in a row. Food was fresh, not too spicy and they had lots of great options to please my 11 year old such as spaghetti bolognaise! The desserts were delicious too - choc lava cake and a spicy apple crumble! Fried tofu with hoisin sauce was yum as was the salads, shrimp and papaya salad was delicious. My son really loved the satay sticks. Great food, great price - it’s tucked away behind the main road and only a short walk from the Taman Sari resort. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed!

Great little place serving delicious food! We especially liked the papaya and shrimp salad as well as the tuna. The staff was very friendly and asked us how spicy we wanted our food. Cozy atmosphere and very quiet, as it's off the main road. So good we came back for dinner another night. Yum!

This little warung, down a quiet lane, is deservedly popular. The salads are fresh and zingy and the main courses live up to all of the superlatives you have read from other reviews. The apple crumble dessert is to die for and I wanted to come back just to have this dish alone! Get there early or book to guarantee a seat.

This is a small family run warung with great food. We had the sate with rice and stir fried vegetables and sweet and sour fish with Chinese fried rice and both were delicious . They have a young man working there now as a trainee and he is fantastic. He will be a great asset to them.

Family restaurant very nice and especially remote from the national. Meals are delicious, perfect seasoning, fast service, very correct sound quantities for the Award ... Award value is very good. Half-baked tuna is crazy, it looks like meat, finger fish are exceptional , skewers with peanut sauce (sate ayem) are exquisite and not to mention chocolate mellow ... a killing 🤪. Go ahead and enjoy tasting

Really delicious restaurant. The grilled fish is great and perfectly cooked accompanied by crunchy vegetables it's just perfect. The soups (soto ayam) are also very good and the plates are well stocked.

The whole family loves this food, so we're working our way through the whole menu with no disappointment during our one week holiday in Pemuteran. Despite our desire to try other warungs, our hunger keeps calling us back to this one. It is the quality and the chef's attention to detail that makes this place special compared to other good warungs.
