We visited in late December and had the set menu for dinner. From memory it was 250k++ and you go a good amount of food. The photo is the amount for 4 people but there were more dishes included.
We did have one hiccup we the wine we ordered being warm, last thing you need in a humid place. However this the rectified quickly by a discount to our meal which we were happy with. Definitely worth a visit đź‘Ś

Selected the new Tenkai ala carte menu a fusion of peruvian and Japanese cuisine.
The service was first class and genuine.
The ambience and lighting was spot on, felt like we were in Japan as the rain fell on the glass walls.
The self expanding lemon grass face cloth on arrival was not only refreshing but a little bit of theatre to start the evening.
We ordered a wide selection of dishes each in small tapas size servings to share from each of the many options. The fusion of flavours and attention to detail in the presentation was flawless.
Our attentive wait staff allowed us to consume each serving before ordering the next course. This allowed us to order quantities to suit our hunger and avoid over ordering as well as time between courses to enjoy the surroundings.
The tempura green tea ice cream at the end was amazing.
Booked again for the Tempenyaki experience.

Not cheap compared to other Bali restaurants but felt like great quality food. Hendra the teppanyaki chef was great, cooked everything really well and brought great atmosphere and conversation whilst cooking. Would definitely come again!

Great experience, it was a show with Wikan (the Teppanyaki chef) the lead. Food was great and plentiful, service was 5 star, and as well as magnificent tender fresh food that was cooked to perfection the wine was really good Champagne & Cabernet. We will be back

Had a thoroughly enjoyable seafood and meat banquet and kids sushi banquets cooked in front of us to perfection by that talented Jimmy, he was great with our kids and they loved the cooking flames and throwing food into their mouths haha. Had the most wonderful night. Chef Jimmy was so good and spoke to us about what we were eating and where various foods came from. So good. Food was to die for! Sagnik was just so good and attentive and chatted to us all and kept everyone engaged and very polite and helpful. Would not hesitate to come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Tenkai is the Japanese restaurant of the Padma Resort in Legian. We went there because it had the highest rating in this area and we were not disappointed.
As it happens, they had "Izakaya Night" when we got there ; basically, they give you a menu with 17 plates (+ desert) and you can order "all you can eat" for about AUD$ 50 pp.
Every single plate was exquisite - and we tried all of them.
This rates as one of the most memorable dining experiences ever !

Oh first teppanyaki experience was one to remember food and service from the chef and waiter staff was great!
Hendra our talented friendly chef was amazing, his cooking combined with his down to earth friendliness made our night perfect, we were lucky enough to have a stunning view by the pool and the chef to ourselves.
As seen in the photos food was exceptional. 10/10

We signed up for the Teppanyaki Meat and Seafood dinner. It is supposed to be 6 people sitting around a large table where the chef cooks in front of you. It ended up that it was just my husband and me. It is a 7 course meal!! There was sushi, ribeye, shrimp, scallops, tuna, salmon, and wagyu just to name a few of the items. I ordered the Salmon meal from the main menu. Loved it! Chef Sudi was amazing! He explained how he was making each item and entertained us along the way. It was a unique private dining experience that was very tasty and reasonable in cost. The individualized experience was incredible!! We had 2 people, (because the shift changed) just standing by ready to attend to our requests at a moments notice. Wahyu and Dayu were great conversationalists, funny, and didn’t miss a beat with whatever we needed.

Having dined Teppanyaki style many times before in Tokyo, Bali and Australia, I was keen to introduce my friends to the experience. We were staying at The Padma for a 50th birthday holiday and booked 2 tables outside for dinner. The booking was easy, done by the poolside where a lovely lady took our orders ahead of time and arranged our table.
As Padma Resident members we had discount vouchers which was an added bonus. Our head server, Surya, was fantastic. We just love the service in Bali, it’s always so polite and accommodating. And Surya’s service was impeccable.
Our chefs were wonderful, they explained each course as they made and served it, which was helpful as some of our party were children (and a few adults who’d never eaten Japanese cuisine before). The whole experience from start to finish was just perfect.
What a wonderful addition Tenkai is, to what was already a flawless hotel.
We will be back!

We had a teppanyaki dinner for 13 of us and the team arranged an outdoor table with a beautiful view of the pool. The food was amazing cooked by the wonderful Wikan. We also had service by Surya who remembered everyone’s names, was so friendly to us and the kids and made sure we had a lovely evening. Loved every bit of our experience. Thank you!

We dined here for dinner for a casual 30th birthday celebration with my partner and this exceeded all expectations.
Chef Afif was very experienced and gave us quite the show when cooking and serving up our teppanyaki diner.
Riki was an excellent waiter, he knew the menu inside out and had exceptional attention to detail.
We would love to return to experience this again on our next visit to Bali.

Beautiful food, 2nd time been to Tenkai and loved it both times.
Today our Chef Sudi was very entertaining and fun, very chatty and explained all food. Waiter Wahyu again was excellent very attentive and chatty also, ensured we enjoyed ourselves and the experience of Tepenyaki. Well done to all the staff.

This place was amazing. We were lucky enough to be the only ones in the restaurant and Jimmy and Surya went above and beyond. They gave us roses and made a love heart out of rose petals and the food was incredible and so much fun. I’d definitely come back and recommend you come was the best experience I’ve had in Bali so far

The teppanyaki was a great experience. There are only 2 seatings per night - 6pm and 8.15pm. Both are usually fully booked so reserve them early. Chef Afif was really skillful and entertaining. The entire session was very interactive with food handling and magic tricks. Our child really enjoyed it. Food was great too. Waiter Wahyu was also very attentive to our needs. Overall a great experience. Strongly recommend!
