Take Restaurant was a new discovery for us while looking for a Japanese restaurant in the Legian area. The restaurant is quite large offering the choice of Teppanyaki or a la carte. We chose to sit at the teppanyaki grill and were immediately blown away by the large number of chefs and service staff. There are a number of Teppanyaki... More

In my first trip to Bali in 2012, we came here several times during the trip as my 18 month daughter at that time refused Western food but wants rice and noodle. We liked this place very much. The owner was a old Japanese gentleman who run the restaurant himself back then. The Japanese cuisine was very authentic. So I... More

I'm from Tokyo and tasted my friend's sushi and it was really awful. I could barely eat it. I guess, why are you ordering sushi in Bali in the first place right? I had some of the other Japanese dishes and they were pretty good. The place had some Japanese and Korean clients in there and none of them were... More

Some business associate took me here in my last visit. Came back with my family and they are impress. Tried the clam simmer with sake, so sweet. The sashimi that we have is so fresh. Not forgetting the ramen, soup is so tasty and the noodle is cook to perfection. Very happy dinner, the best in this trip.

Looking for fresh raw fish? We came to the right place here ini Take. They have quite a varieties. After few days of Balinese/Indonesian food, we went to another direction- japanese. Sashimi was fresh. Accompanied with good sake at decent price.

I heard the owner is Japanese. The staff are attentive. The best sashimi and sushi that I ever have in Bali. We have mixed platter of sashimi & sushi and many other items to share. The other worth mentioning is the BBQ squid. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Bali.
