Restaurant itself was lovely, staff were over attentive, asking if we wanted another drink when we still had half a glass, quite annoying . Food sucked, we asked for chicken Pad Thai , had probably 4 small pieces of chicken the rest was TOFU, if We wanted vegetarian, we would have asked for it. Lighting sucked. Never again will we go there.

A wide variety of dishes to pick from, the Nasi goreg is lovely (however both times I visited the prawn crackers were stale). Boyfriend had a burger and then the grilled chicken and he loved both. Staff are very friendly, perfect location if you are staying at the Mercure Legian or nearby!

We visited twice during a week stay at nearby Padma. Great salads - Larb, SoTom were very fresh and refreshing. we enjoyed the stir fried veggie dishes, especially the beans and tofu dish with basil and water spinach. Red curry chicken fell short of expectations given the quality of the other dishes we had. but was nice . Staff are friendly but service was disorganised and I put it down to inexperienced staff to be polite. Note the front seating area is the bar area and as such a smoking area; a minor detail not mentioned as we were hustled off the street on our first night. Well worth a try.

Booked a Rundle street favourite for a quick meal before illuminate last night, and was so disappointing to what’s happened to the place. The menu has been truncated, supposedly for ‘Fringe’ the staff, although pleasant, were really only there to take your order and deliver food and wine to the table, think McDonald’s, which table service. Our wine was delivered with four glasses, was left for us to serve ourselves, and our food came without spoons, so we had to ask for serving cutlery, no big deal. To the food. Nothing like we’ve seen at lemongrass before, in a bad way - stingy and pre prepared – Penang beef, more like Penang soup plenty of gravy beef cubes, tiny and scarce. Explains the huge bowl of rice. Basil seafood, one mussel keeping one prawn company amongst diced calamari, and disappointing vegetables. Pad Thai, wet noodles with a side of very sad looking shredded chicken breast. Green chicken curry again more of a soup and very little chicken. From the prices charged, and the previous experiences we’ve had here, something is going on, and it’s not good. Will be avoiding this place during the festivals, and until the proper menu is offered

Lemongrass in Melasti, Legian, stands as one of our most cherished dining establishments. Whether it's a midday reprieve or an evening indulgence, it consistently delivers a divine experience. The staff here are exceptionally welcoming and attentive, and the culinary offerings are nothing short of extraordinary. In particular, the chicken satay is an absolute sensation, and don't even get us started on the peanut sauce – it's truly out of this world! For lunch, you can casually stroll in and secure a table, but for dinner, it's imperative to make a reservation unless you're willing to endure a potential wait. Plus, its convenient proximity to a fantastic market across the road adds to its allure, offering some exceptional bargains to cap off your visit.

Was so looking forward to eating here tonight after great reviews. After ordering we waited 1.30 hours for meals, when tables around us ordered After us and got their meals. Asked the poor waitress's several times ( nothing against them, they were lovely) we ended up cancelling our orders and went elsewhere. Very disappointing 🤷‍♀️

Was really looking forward to Thai food but unfortunately the food was lacklustre. To begin with, the food took such a long time to arrive. The mixed vegetable dish arrived looking limp & cold. The tom yum goong was seriously lacking in any flavour - only tasted tangy but that was all! The grilled fish seemed to have been grilled poorly & the accompanying sauce was not even Thai at all. To top it off, a kitten casually strolls in & parks itself near the diners, hoping for a handout I guess. It's really such a pity that a beautifully decorated restaurant has food quality that doesn't match up. Perhaps, they should just focus on a few dishes & master them, rather than offer more that doesn't come close to Thai flavours at all! What a disappointment!

Deep in the heart of Legian, we found this. Incredible Thai restaurant with lovely waitresses. We ordered a couple of ice-cold adult beverages to start while waiting for our Larb, Tom Yum Gai and Gaeng Keow Waan (green curry) orders. To mop up the curry juice we also ordered sticky rice. For dessert ordered Mango sticky rice and another cucumber cooler to finish the meal. TIP: Eat early to avoid standing in line or reserve a table, as this restaurant is very popular. WOW ! My wife and I have been dining at Lemongrass for over twenty five years and keep coming back for more since back in the day Wayan (owner) she had several locations and the current one for over 10 plus years is our favorite! Located on Jalan Melasti close to central Legian street they have a huge free parking lot across the street (which is not common but a perk) now let’s talk about the FOOD ! Excellent ! We sometimes start off sharing the TomYum goon shrimp soup or vegetable spring rolls as appetizers and for main course my wife enjoys the Gang Penang chicken dish and as for myself I do the red curry chicken dish and I always add cashews and broccoli and have it prepared spicy 🌶️ 🥵 Yummy ! Adding a bit of jasmine rice 🍚 and top it off with several ice cold Beers or as my wife prefers their signature cocktail 🍸 a Lychee martini 🍸 also, if you like noodles the Pad Thai is a must do. The restaurant also offers kid friendly options as well. Bucket list check ✔️ DONE

I was very pleased with my experience at Lemongrass. The resto is large and attractive with different types of seating including comfortable armchairs, I had a tofu curry which was well spiced and very delicious. Prices were reasonable. I didn't have a cocktail (next time!) but people around me did and they looked quite amazing. Staff was solicitous (if anything, too much so...I wanted to be left alone to eat!!). I would return and recommend this restaurant.

Reasonably priced, tasty food with hearty portions. Server Ayu was very helpful and sociable. Recommended to make a reservation for peak timings - you could get seats without one but you might be very near the road which would be dustier and noisier. The food takes a bit longer to come, so order quickly the moment you arrive. It’s probably cos they offer a wide variety on their menu, so they have to cook most items on demand.

We have been to the Lemongrass restaurant in Legian many times pre covid. On our return to Bali we had to visit one of our favourite restaurants. Our wonderful waitress, Ayu, could not have been more helpful. She was able to advise which meals could be done gluten free, i selected the masssaman curry, which was amazing with just the right amount of heat for my taste.Being a coeliac in a different country can be difficult but bali is very good for us special people. We will be back to Lemongrass before we return home to Perth.

A very well run restaurant that is always busy. For a large group, I would suggest booking. As there was only the two we managed to get a table. The food was served quite quick was was surprising as the waiter said it was all cooked fresh. Maybe some of it but we had pork belly sates and they were on the table in 5 minutes. Anyway, we both enjoyed our meals. I had a Thai Green Curry which had just the right amount of heat for me and my partner had fish that came with a very extra hot sauce. We both enjoyed our meals and the Mango Daquiri was delicious

We had a great night out at lemongrass restaurant. It was our last night in Bali and we received amazing service from Widia, Dewa and Made. There were 10 of us and we were able to keep 3 tabs so that we could pay separately. The food was fresh and full of flavour, I recommend the duck salad. The cocktails were the best we had all holiday and I was even allowed behind the bar to assist in making my own cocktail. Thank you for a great experience, you made our last night in Bali one to remember.

Excellent, satisfying food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff are making sure guests are having a very good time. The food is yummy, tasty and feels fresh. Music is great, deco is also good. Overall experience is abselutlly fabulous. Water named Iluh is a star, made us feel at home from start to end, just the right type of place you want to have your dinner at the end of the beautiful day. Perfect. Tri makaso
