The food and drinks (quesadillas, coconut pineapple martini, and the lychee martini) were fantastic.
However, the service was the worst I have experienced in Bali (and also Australia). When we arrived for our 8.30pm booking, our waiter merely nodded to a table and did not...speak to us. Our table was dirty when we sat there, and my partner got chocolate sauce (?) all over his arm and phone.
When we ordered cocktails, waters, and an entree, the waiter still did not speak a word to us, nor did he acknowledge our order. He and 2 other staff were stood chatting loudly at the bar. The entree arrived and it was very good. As were the drinks. We did not receive the water we ordered. Assuming this is because the waiter did not write down the order, nor repeat it. We asked for share plates, received a nod. We were not provided with cutlery. Throughout the 40 minutes we stayed, our waiter literally did not speak to us once. Only nods and frowns.
We were intending on ordering mains, however the horrendous service resulted in us going elsewhere. It was very unwelcoming and it felt like it was a hindrance to staff that we were there. Further, we were provided with the wrong bill when we were leaving. Our order was not in the system.
