Food was amazing, our group of 7 all were happy with our meals. Service was also excellent, happy, welcoming and having a laugh with our table. Last night was our last night evening in Legian and it did not disappoint. There is live music from...8pm every night, we were there a bit earlier so missed it. It was suitable for kids and adults. Found Uncle Norms early in our holiday and so glad we did. There was live music every night with people up and dancing and sometimes getting up and taking a microphone to either join in with the band or being the band’s frontman/woman. The drinks...were good priced and the service was quick, efficient and friendly. Not sure if it’s a good thing or not but if we didn’t order what we seemed to order most times ( yes, we did keep going back ), then they’d ask ‘not having xxxxxxx’s tonight’? We ate a few times in the bar and the food was good. Loved the security guard on the front who would walk out into the road to stop the traffic so you could cross easy ( even if you weren’t going in ). Can’t remember the names of staff, but the one with the chopsticks in her hair would acknowledge you walking by during the day and say ‘see you later’ or ‘are you coming in tonight’ and the security guard would wave at you if you happened to walk by on the other side of the road and not look as if you were crossing. It was obvious that it was a popular place, as even in the short period we were in Bali, we started recognising the same people in the bar, not just couples like us, but also families ( older kids though ).More
The Mie Goreng was delicious, service was friendly, hospitable and relaxed, and the cocktails were well priced and icy cold. We'll be back.
Really delicious food at Uncle Norms, I enjoyed one of the best prawn pad thai for a long time. Partner had black pepper beef which was also delicious. We had the rice spring rolls for entree and my only criticism was there wasn’t more of...the yummy peanut sauce to dunk them in ! Beer was cold, pleasant surroundings and great service. Shout out to the maître dee who holds up the traffic so you can cross safely. Highly recommendMore
A really relaxed atmosphere and beautiful food. We had three mains, three cocktails and a beer all for $50 aud. Staff were friendly, the fans were lovely and this was a nice break during our shopping trip!
Such an amazing place to visit. Live music was absolutely amazing, atmosphere was incredible and staff were super friendly, the security out the front made sure you were well looked after, as with the bar staff. I look forward to going back!!
Found this place and so glad we went in. All staff super friendly. The food was superb, the drinks icy cold. Music playing and live band from 8pm. Can thoroughly recommend this place. Certainly came as guests and left as friends.
A visit to Bali is not complete without a visit to Uncle Norm's Bar and Bistro. Great meals, drinks, service and live entertainment.
This isn’t our kind of place normally, but we love it! We visit several times when we are in town and you know exactly what you get a loud, friendly and fun place. On this occasion, we took a table almost on the pavement and...it was perfectly located. You saw all the goings on of the bar, but also live outside on the street. It is chaotic! This is a very cold beer and there’s never a dull moment. On the night we were there there was a live band on who were really good and they enhance the atmosphere even more.More
Have been going here since 1984 when it was just Norm's bar - a local with a beer belly hence Norm's bar after Norm from the ads in Australia about sitting around the house and getting fat! Prices are a little higher than other similar...bars but good selection of food and drink options.More

Our group were on a beach walk from Seminyak and in need of a drink. We walked along the street and Uncle Norms looked inviting and there were a few inside so we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed and we...ended up having drinks and lunch and everything was great. During our visit the number of people visiting increased significantly so the place is obviously popular. The cool towels offered when we arrived were greatly appreciated and the staff were excellent.More
Great bistro bar and restaurant near to our office. Staff friendly and food quality was good. Both Asian and Western food were good.
Always friendly and attentive, go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Busy too which indicates that this is a good place to stop for a drink.
We have visited before but on this visit Norm’s was just around the corner from where we stayed. We called in for lunch or dinner or just a drink (and a clean toilet!!) and the service is always great. Loved the Nasi Goreng Istemewa.
