Found Uncle Norms early in our holiday and so glad we did.
There was live music every night with people up and dancing and sometimes getting up and taking a microphone to either join in with the band or being the band’s frontman/woman.
The drinks...were good priced and the service was quick, efficient and friendly.
Not sure if it’s a good thing or not but if we didn’t order what we seemed to order most times ( yes, we did keep going back ), then they’d ask ‘not having xxxxxxx’s tonight’?
We ate a few times in the bar and the food was good.
Loved the security guard on the front who would walk out into the road to stop the traffic so you could cross easy ( even if you weren’t going in ).
Can’t remember the names of staff, but the one with the chopsticks in her hair would acknowledge you walking by during the day and say ‘see you later’ or ‘are you coming in tonight’ and the security guard would wave at you if you happened to walk by on the other side of the road and not look as if you were crossing.
It was obvious that it was a popular place, as even in the short period we were in Bali, we started recognising the same people in the bar, not just couples like us, but also families ( older kids though ).More
