About
Sheppy's is predominantly a restaurant with a lovely bar to one side. Clean with around seating for 70 people. We show most sports available including all NRL and AFL games. Great meals at a very affordable price for the families including many Australian dishes such as pork chops, schnitzels, battered fish and chips and many Indonesian dishes. Drinks are very affordable with Bintangs at Rp27,000 and Rp22,000 at happy hour from 4 to 7pm every day. We cater for any type of allergy. We also have a no-smoking section to the rear of our restaurant which is very popular with families with young children. Children and adults are able to order half size meals at half the price.

Found Sheppy's while out looking for breakfast. Great spot in Melasti not far from Garlic Lane. Breakfast was great, Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng were some of the best I have had. Mie Goreng, juice and coffee for $5.00 was great value. Went back for dinner and tried the Beef Rendang (lovely)

Visited Sheppy's on recommendation and was satisfied. Food was plentiful and tasty, service was attentive and polite and the atmosphere, whilst quite warm, was relaxed and comfortable.
Worth considering a visit to Sheppy's whilst in Legian.

Great food, great drinks. Amazing service.
The staff and owners are so friendly. You always walk out if sheppys with a smile on your face
Could not recommend a better place for people who are not sure where to go for a bite to eat and a cold beer.

Have visited this restaurant many times over the last 7 years and have always found the food great BUT in the last few years have found quality of food is progressively getting worse. Ordered medium done steak and got well done minute steak lucky to be 1 cm thick!!! Other meals well below standard. To top it off allows smoking inside some sections of the restaurants - won't be going there again.

Our steak is the same steak the old owners used. So not sure you've been in too many times or you'd know that. Our cooks are the same our floor staff the same and we have kept everything meal wise the same. On top of that the restaurant was all smoking before we took over so I don't see how making the back half no smoking is not an improvement, nor if you are in fact an old customer do I understand how you wouldn't know it used to be smoking in all areas. Also wondering what motivates someone to write a review about a restaurant that has had to close due to the corona virus. Did you just decide to kick someone when they are down.

myself and my family have been coming to Sheppys restaurant since 2011, they have helped since our first visit to Bali with what to do and what to do, plus supplying us a Kuta map to help out. They are also the only place I can feel comfortable eating at due to being anaphylactic to egg and have never had an issue ordering without, there has also been multiple times I haven't realised there's egg in the meal I have ordered but because of there amazing memory and customer service, they've had to remind me and check that's what I want.
They also have the best Jim Beam on ice in Bali which works perfect for when me and mum need to drop dad off there for the day. we call it "dads daycare", they spoil him and let him choose what to play on the TV.

For the first three days we arrived we ended up going for dinner at sheppys.being new overseas travellers, we were dubious about what and where to eat. We thought we just decide on Australian bars for safetys and we were told by someone else cuz it was a nice feed. Hence The reason we went there for three days in a row. Each time we ordered something different and each time we weren't disappointed.
They supplied called washes for the sweat and ice cold beers.

I have a lot of allergies, like a lot.. so it is very difficult to find an accomodating place for me to enjoy a meal with my family and enjoy it without being worried about my allergies.
All of the staff understood my situation and they all speak very good English. The owners were also there to assist with anything I personally needed.
My food came out and it was brilliant, my family enjoyed theirs and it was a good way to finish the night.

We had heard amazing things and thought to check it out ourselves and we were not disappointed. From the time we were greeted at the door to the time we left, staff were friendly and so helpful especially with two kids who were a bit fussy eaters. The cold wet face washers on arrival were a real treat and then colouring in for the kids and the food was such good value, we even came back again before we left bali. We will be back next year.

We went to Sheppys a number of times during our holiday for lunch and dinner and would highly recommend.. upon arrival you are greeted with smiling happy faces and a nice cold washer which is the best after walking in the heat all day!
We had my mums birthday dinner there and the staff were just beautiful putting up balloons and allowing us to bring in a cake.. made it such a lovely night!
Overall the food is delicious and great value, service is quick and both the owners and their staff are so lovely and accommodating!

My partner and I went there for dinner and drinks with our friends who were visiting from Belgium.
My partner ordered a Long Island Iced Tea and our friend ordered a Mohito.
I tasted the 2 cocktails and they tasted like water with no alcohol.
We sent the Iced Tea back and the Australian owner came over and said it looked weak and tried it and said the barman must have forgotten an ingredient!!
He said he wouldn’t even address the Mohito as it only had 1 shot!
He replaced the Iced Tea and it tasted better as we always have the. And know what they taste like.
We paid our bill and went over the road and ordered the same drinks and they were how they should be.
This guy won’t be in business for long if he treats his customers like that and especially as we are Aussies too!

If you don’t like Indonesian food, or require food that is not rich, then this is the place to eat. If you enjoy the flavours of Indonesian food, then I would suggest eating at an Indonesian run establishment. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly, but the food was over priced and very bland.

The four of us called in after a long days activities and were pleasantly surprised.
The beer is ice cold and the food plentiful and fresh with a good variety of indo and Euro food choices.
The service is sharp and organized and the prices are very reasonable.

I have been coming here for years. Drinks are cold and safe. I love the club sandwich here, it is like a tradition for us to pop in and grab one for lunch while watching the world go by. The cold towels are a treat too so refreshing. The cocktails are great here too. Owners and staff are lovely. I recommend this place for food, safe drinks and helpful staff. Grab a map of area while in there too!

This restaurant is fabulous. The Aussie owners greeted us at the door every time and the food is super yummy and cheap. They have TVs everywhere giving it a relaxed sport bar vibe. I visited with my brother and boyfriend many times during our stay in Legian and we were never disappointed. The place is always packed with plenty of tourists which is a testament to the quality of the food and service. The Balinese staff are so kind and eager to please. They were also more than willing to cater around my seafood allergy and even had our regular meal orders memorised. Overall 10/10. The food is yum, the service is some of the best you’ll find in Bali and most importantly, the drinks are COLD! we will be back :))

Every time we go to Bali, we make sure to pop in to Sheppy’s. Our first visit was on our honeymoon in 2010 and have been frequently since. We have seen the restaurant change hands, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere has never changed. The crew at Sheppy’s always greet us like family. Our kids love it there, always entertained with colouring or games. Breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a pit stop for a refreshing drink, Cathie and Andy will often be present in the restaurant greeting guests like old friends.
As for the food and drinks on offer, the menu is plentiful, the food delicious and the price is amazing!! Plenty of options for the kids too.
We cannot wait to return, counting down until our next Bali holiday.
