We ate at this very popular restaurant in Garlic Lane with our family. Nice clean restaurant with a live band playing. The staff were lovely, very accomodating. They offered a variety of food on their menu and the food tasted good, prices were good to (around $50 AUD for 4 people which included 2 alcoholic drinks and a milkshake).
The only minor issue I had was the time it took to bring out the food. I knew they were busy and it was getting late so I ordered garlic bread to give us at least something to eat to start with (while we waited for our main meals) however I was unaware they will not bring out “entrees” first…according to the waitress all food has to come out together.
I’d definitely recommend this restaurant. Just be mindful it is busy and you may have to wait accordingly.

We visited previously and enjoyed the service and food. Go the frozen Margarita!
Anyway our hotel was charging ridiculous amounts for very sad food, but we just weren't in the mood for a sit down lunch on our last day.
I facebook messaged the Lokal and asked if we could pick up something to bring back to the hotel. They responded immediately.
In half an hour my husband returned fro the Lokal 80361 with four piping hot boxes of food (chicken schnitzel burgers and chips - HUGE serves) for 1/4 of the price we would have been charged at the (budget) hotel. (The Melasti hotel charged $8 for a small side serve of chips - so to enjoy a beautiful breast chicken AND chips for the same price was welcomed!)
I highly recommend The Lokal 80361 for service, quality and care.

After reading so many great reviews of this establishment we thought that we had to go there to see for ourselves.
We booked a table for six of us….and we are glad we did!
The service was very attentive from all of the staff- our drinks were replenished very quickly by servers who knew what we wanted to drink.
The six of us ordered different meals and, when they were delivered to our table, the oooh’s and ahh’s were very audible. They say that you eat with eyes, so very true! Unfortunately, there were no pictures taken, as we all just couldn’t wait to eat what was presented to us! Every meal was freshly prepared and arrived to our table at the same time. We had pizza, lasagna, pad thai, grilled fish, seafood selection and beef randang.
We all are well seasoned travellers and all concur that it was one of the best meals that we have had for some time!

Ate here with the family as it was close to the hotel and it was one of the very few restaurants without live music, which is rare these days in aussie dominated legian/seminyak (better check by calling as they do have live music most nights). Service was friendly but slow and the western dishes were of mediocre quality (burger, steak) while the wine was way too warm (solved by an ice bucket). But the indonesian dishes were great and prices are reasonable.

Our favourite restaurant in Legian. Go later and you have a better chance of a table. Food is delicious and great value. They have daily specials - I had lobster from this menu at 250k served with prawns chips and salad- fabulous. Lots to choose from on the menu and nice wines and cocktails too.
Servers are brilliant- was lovely to chat to Kadek and Uni. Ate here twice in our week but could easily have gone every night.

Went here for Breakfast on a few occasions. Staff very friendly and helpful and one of the places that welcomes you with a nice icy cold face towel. The decor and surroundings are very comfortable and chic. Menu has a wide choice of food options and drinks that caters for all even vegan. Hubby has their full breakfast with an ice coffee and I get the Fruit bowl with toast and a pot of tea. Everything is fresh and delicious, the fruit bowl is more than fresh fruit as it comes with yogurt, granola and honey. Highly recommended

We were welcomed so warmly and had fantastic service all evening. We visited on our first night in Bali and our kids were incredibly tired but loved their juices and kids meals. We sat right in front of the live band which I thought would be too loud but they were fantastic and we didn’t want to leave we were enjoying their songs so much. Fantastic crab for a great price and cold Bintangs!

Thanks so much for some more great nights of music at The Lokal in
Legian. Agoes and Nyoman are such talented musicians and ensure that eating the beautiful food becomes something special!! We hope to see them play at the new beach Lokal venue now being built that is nice and close to the Kumala Pantai and Jayakarta hotels. Thanks again guys and all the lovely staff at the Lokal!!

Disappointing on the gluten free front.
Came here on recommendation from online gluten free food groups, only to find limited options.
If not for there dietary restrictions, the menu was extensive and food looked great.
The gluten free steak sandwich was okay but could have done with some sauce to give it flavour.
Unfortunately won’t come back on account of limited dietary options but would consider for others without these needs.

We loved the prawn,avo and mango salad- very refreshing on a hot day. The strawberry milkshake was well presented and the spring rolls were divine. There is even retail therapy right there in the restaurant! Highly recommend.

The Lokal is a great restaurant in Legian with great food and icy cold beers. At anytime also enjoy some amazing fresh and healthy “boost” drinks. Very friendly staff who can’t do enough and Julie, the proprietor always goes out of her way to help make the visit to the restaurant and Bali really enjoyable.

The Lokal 80361 provides excellent food at really good value for money, with exceptional staff that are always wanting to go the extra mile for customers. A really good variety of food and inexpensive cocktails and drinks makes this a regular for our families visit to Bali.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits the Legian area and you certainly wont be disappointed.

This was a nice place. It had live music and the menu was very extensive with lots of choices. We were happy with our cocktails and food but more so the waitress was outstanding. The waitress serving us was lovely but unfortunately the couple next to us were so rude and unfortunately Australian like us. This waitress was amazing and I gave her a massive tip, not for the service to me but how she handled herself with the pigs next to us that she had to serve. She was amazing and I wish I got her name. She has black glasses and a great sense of humour. I was a waitress 30yrs ago and the abuse you get is awful but it’s not our fault most of the time. Anyway this place is great, the food is great and the staff is exceptional

This cute little restaurant is located in Garlic Lane, lovely staff, quick service, very friendly. Could not really fault anything here, but given the rave reviews we had read we did expect a little more from the food than we experienced but that is down to personal taste and also the dishes you order I believe. The Coffee frappe I had was absolutely divine though, and HUGE! Very refreshing for a hot day unlike most caffeine drinks in this type of weather I wasn’t left feeling like I needed to have something more hydrating afterwards. We had the tempura prawns with sweet n sour sauce, the vegetable spring rolls (which unfortunately were very oily but delicious!) and the beef burger here.

Surf and turf was very tasty and the crepe for dessert finished our meal off beautifully!
Lovely clean bathrooms and a small shop with everything from clothes to cutlery and all very well priced. Thanks for a lovely evening.
