This restaurant has the best pizza in the whole east of Bali! The service is very friendly and and it’s very special that you get kind of pre food here (traditionell Italien bread with olive oil and vinegar and delicious bruschetta). The restaurant is located close to the coast so you have a nice ocean view perfect for a sundowner. In conclusion it’s definitely worth to visit this place!

Amazing Mushroom sauce gnocchi

Amazing food and an amazing view! The staff were able to make food to our request of Mushroom gnocchi. It was delicious. Would highly recommend. The staff were lovely and speak good english. They even give you a complimentary bruschetta, some bread and olive oil/balsamic dip before your meals come out.

Never disappoints

I have been here a couple of times and it was great on both counts. They have a consistent level of service - very attentive and friendly - great view and excellent food. We always had the pizza whenever we visit. Love how they serve Bruschetta for appetizer, nothing fancy but a nice touch. Price is reasonable for the level of service and food that they serve. Very accommodating too - we brought a bottle of alcoholic drinks for a celebration and although a bit confused they agreed to only charge us a small amount for corkage fee. I made it a mission to come back to this place every time I visit Amed. Well done, Trattoria.

A great restaurant that you should not miss 😉

An unexpectedly good Italian restaurant in Bali. We have been travelling in Indonesia for more than two weeks and have yet to find anything close to a good festive restaurant. Here you can feel the signature of the Italian owner, who has managed to pass on the knowledge to his chefs. In addition, the service is excellent. We always received all starters and main courses at the same time. visually, the dishes were very attractively arranged. The prices are quite high by Balinese standards, but the quality justifies the price.

Good Italian in Bali!

Normally I wouldn’t go to an Italian restaurant in South East Asia but I made an exception because my partner was craving for Italian food and the reviews were really good. I had to try it myself! It’s a little drive away from Amed but also a pretty coastal drive during sunset. We both ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and it was DELICIOUS! I’m very picky with carbonara, I like it the traditional way and this is very good! My partner also highly recommends the Lava cake! Nice place, friendly people, good views. Definitely worth going for dinner

OMG !!! this place was amazing

This place was so good that we ate here all 3 nights and had 2 lunches delivered to ur Makara villa as well. The truffle carbonara was to die for as were the pizzas, caesar salad and all of the other meals we tried. Highly recommend

Best Italian food that we had outside of Italy

We had dinner at the Trattoria in Amed last night and thought the food was the best Italian food in Indonesia and probably outside of Itsly. Makes us want to come back to Amed just for your restaurant. Before coming to Jakarta we lived in Milan for 5 years, so finding food of such quality was especially pleasant. We are wondering if there is a trattoria in Jakarta ( where we live now?? Once again, grazie mille!!!

Expectations not met …

Great expectations that were unfortunately not met. The restaurant is located on the Amed seafront, nicely situated with a sea view. The menu offers a lot of choice, from pasta - pizza, meat and fish dishes. very high price level for Bali. We really felt like Italian and ordered different things. However, none of them could really convince us ...... flat tomato sauce with the Parmigiana, the salmon tartar was also pretty boring, the pizza well, the cheesecake with mango puree not very fresh. In summary, the 500k is not justified, the portions are very clear, too expensive.

Would you like some kapalabackton with your Chicken

My wife got served undercooked chicken still pink. We returned and then recieved dry over cooked re cooked unedable breast, sorry sir was the only thing said by the chief as he showed zero.imterest and sat on his phone. We come here alot but clearly no one cares here anymore. Raw chicken is dangerous ans this is a basic cooking skill. We explained we didn't want to pay for a meal that was inedible and after discussion amongst the staff we paid for one meal. We have taken many friends to this restaurant when they come to Bali and until today it has been amazing. The chefs lack of interest and caring about the dangerous practice of servicng pink chicken has made this visit our last.

Great Italian food

I am always a bit unsure about western food in Asia, but this restaurant turned out to be worth my visit. I ordered sea food pasta in tomatosauce and the pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce very tasty. There could have been a bit more seafood, though, which is why my rating is 4 instead of 5.

It’s a winner

Staying in Amed for a couple of nights we spotted this restaurant on our scooter trip here from Sanur yesterday. It is a winner !!!!❤️ We have been here twice for lunch and enjoyed the smoked salmon pizza and eggplant lasagne so much we had it both visits. Finishing off with the chocolate lava cake and espresso coffees this little gem is a well priced find. See you next visit

Easily the worst food I have ever eaten in Bali

After reading the great reviews, this was our first choice for dinner when staying at Aquamarine Beach Villas. We had dinner delivered to our villa through WhatsApp. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was abysmal, and we did not finish it. Steamed fish with mixed seafood was some sort of tough fish (barracuda?) which had not been scaled or boned. The seafood topping was rubbery calamari. The “vegetables” were crispy overcooked chips and the other meal of crumbed calamari - had a ratio of 10% calamari to the batter/crumb coating so that the calamari could barely be distinguished. The accompanying Greek salad was essentially lettuce with a tablespoon if crumbled feta, some onion, tomato, cucumber & olives. The salad was actually delicious but not really a Greek Salad- we ate that. The inedible main courses encased in their Styrofoam containers, ended up in the bin. Don’t bother - just walk 2 mins down the hill to Ibus Seaview Warung is my recommendation. ½ the cost too!

Good but not great

We visited here based on past reviews. They had a good selection of wines. We ordered the pizza special and unfortunately was presented with full slices of uncooked ham just placed on top of the pizza, which was quite strange and didn’t lend itself to the flavour of an Italian pizza. The base of the pizza was good though. The seafood pasta again was okay but not great.l as pasta wasn’t cooked properly. The tuna tartare was good and fresh. Probably wouldn’t rush back.

Great Italian food

Had a beautiful late lunch. Seated with a cute complimentary little bruschetta and jug of cold water. We ordered frozen margaritas, Octopus Carpaccio, Pasta Marinara in Tomato Sauce and Sweet and Sour Pepes, finished with Mango Cheesecake and Espresso. The food was fantastic and all served with delicious fresh bread rolls to mop up the sauces. Delightful service and a stunning view. Definitely will be back.

Teenage Son said Best Burger

We were staying at Aquamrine Villas and ate here a few times. All meals very nice and stand out for my son was the beef burger. The chips also the best. Was meant to go back just to order a large serve of chips! Pizza was ok but we have wood pizza oven at home so are a bit spoilt for quality. Great views.
