We went here for breakfast. Had the usual stuff of dosai, poori etc., All of them were good. The masala stuffing was very good. At the end, we had tea. That was also very good. One of the good veg options in the town.

My partner and I visited the hot kitchen twice in 24 hours during our recent stay in Alleppey. This is a very basic restaurant serving delicious vegetarian and vegan food and great value for money. The Alugobi Masala and Cauliflower Roast were just fantastic

Had lunch at this hotel. It is a decent budget hotel. Food is good but you can get only Kerala rice. Normal rice is not available.

Highly value for money is it's USP. Masala dosa tasted fine. Sambar was okay while nariyal chutney was good. Alu Gobhi Masala had the Kerala touch and I loved it while my wife felt it to be just good but nothing wow. We had chapatis with it which could have been better (bit crispy for a chapati) Not a place... More

Does not appear to be much when you walk down the alley to the hot kitchen. Check the menu on the right hand side before you sit, they do not provide menus at the table like most of the places that locals eat. Masala dosas were excellent and crispy , full of flavour. Best thing is because you know it's... More

Hotel Hot Kitchen is perfect for vegetarians who want good/cheap South Indian food. Would recommend it for people who are after a quick dinner in a busy/local Indian style restaurant.

Brilliant masala dosa! Friendly staff too and very efficient. We would definitely eat here again would it be that it wasn't in Alleppey - didn't like Alleppey at all.

The food was excellent. It was hot and fresh. Lovely curry. The service is quick and efficient. Does not serve alcohol. Not a great ambience, plastic tables and chairs, emphasis appears on client turnover. However, you have hardly finished with your food before the plate is taken away and the bill presented. Not somewhere to have a leisurely meal.
