Wait staff great. Overcrowded on Friday. Expand? Had fish and chips and shrimp and grits in the Atlanta location and it was great. Here the s&g were very over salted and too smoky. Couldn't taste the shrimp and grits. One of the three pieces of fish was under cooked and tough. I have a feeling the cook staff was rushed... More

There has been no major change to the menu, the pasta or salad choices and it is simply expensive for burgers and fries. Children get a styrofoam cup for their beverage( age 8 and 9). My husband had a salmon dish he found to be dry. I enjoy the wine choices and bar cocktails when I meet with girlfriends, but... More

This restaurant used to be great. It has lost its touch. The Thai Chicken skewers used to be my favorite. They have lessened the amount greens than originally served when first on the menu. Fish tacos used to be good too. Last time I got them, they were cold. 😩 I wear hearing aids and this place is too loud.... More

Had a great meal and wonderful service. I love the atmosphere, especially the fireplace on a cold evening. Will be back for sure.

We eat at VT in Winston quite a lot, particularly for lunch. This was our first visit to the Greensboro location. The restaurant lacks a bit of the charm of the 2 Winston locations, but is large and still quite nice. The menu has a bit of everything and most choices are prepared very well. They also have an excellent... More

The Cajun seafood pasta was delicious with 3 large scallop and lots of shrimp over fettuccine. Service was prompt and attentive. I also tried the calamari app and fried spring rolls. The apps were ok. The star is the entree. The zucchini and squash vegetarian spaghetti was also great. Definitely get a reservation as they are very busy. Nice laid... More

Look around. This is what you see: regulars, grabbing quick bite while watching the game, multi-generation groups gathered around a table, presents beside them. You also will see two couples enjoying a meal out together, millennials sitting outside in the enclosed area, or in the bistro seating, grabbing appetizers and a brew, and even some people who have met online... We visited Village Tavern for a family birthday dinner and were pleased with the entire experience!! The first table we were ushered to was RIGHT beside the noisy kitchen, super challenging for my mom with hearing aides !! Upon expressing my displeasure the manager IMMEDIATELY intervened and found us a MUCH better booth. Our server, Whitney, was outstanding!! She memorized... More

This is a place where the middle class and above eats. The food is good and can be a little pricey for what you get. If you like a fancy place to eat this is the place.
