This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend but I was disappointed as the place is badly in need of some renovation. This is an old time restaurant with the old standards on the menu and apparently no younger people working there. The food was average but pricey with only the view down the mountain as a plus. I found... More

Arrived in Gatlinburg late on a Saturday and wanted a quiet place for dinner away from the crowds and traffic. Enjoyed the short trek up the hill to this little gem. Offers something different than the standard fare in Gatlinburg.

We had a Restaurants.com certificate for this lovely restaurant in the woods up above the town....which was great because it IS a little pricey! Dinner started with a cup of barley soup and a house salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, both of which were very good. Then we had the crabmeat stuffed tilapia and the New York strip steak,... Wow! So glad we checked before heading out to dinner. This place was AMAZING! It is off the beaten path for sure. You have to drive up to the top of a steep residential hill to get there. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. Don't get hung up on the condition of the place...the food and service are more than... More

My Bride and I had the pleasure of having dinner at Greenbrier Restaurant. The view is wonderful. The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered escargot in mushroom caps and my Bride tasted it for the first time. She has an issue with texture, yet she liked it. We ordered steak. The steak melted in our mouth. The color inside was... More

Great lodge-type look up a short mountain drive. Service was phenomenal! Requested tilapia lightly seasoned, lightly blackened. Was perfect as was the loaded potatoes. May I suggest the salad with the house sweet vinaigrette! They were very child-friendly, too. Thank you and we'll be back!

My wife and I truly love this place. We come here everytime we go to Gatlinburg and have the Primerib - it's superb. The staff at the bar are very personable and friendly and there's a big screen to watch the games. Bring your college pendant to post on the wall.

Great food. Good service. Place is very old, but guess that is part of the atmosphere. Just wish they would take up the carpet and put down rustic floors to bring in more of that rustic type appeal that they seem to strive for. Carpet is simply nasty and outdated to be in restaurants in today's time.

Birthday Dining for SuzyQ. Good steaks, salads, sides, key lime, fellowship, atmosphere & service. A fine evening, thanks to Billie and all those behind the scenes.
