Certainly can't beat the location, about 50 yards from the entrance to the park in what seems like you have already entered the park. Staff from countries around the globe, like so many of the places in Glacier. The food was nothing more and nothing less than what you might get at a Dennys. Omelets, french toast that sounds special... More

We had bison burgers that were way overpriced (based on previous meals in other locations) - and they were overcooked and quite dry. Huckleberry lemonade was OK. Overall we felt the food was only average and the bill was high. We would not go back and feel that this town seems to be a tourist trap for folks going to... More

We were looking for a break from the GNP lodge restaurants on our last night at GNP. We drove out to West Glacier and decided to dine at West Glacier Cafe. The food was good diner food. I have never had posole soup before--it was delicious. We have had huckleberry desserts all week in the park. Hands down, the double... More

The huckleberry pancakes were big and full of hucks. Nice syrup to go with them. Bacon was less than average. Veggie omelet was disappointing. Dry eggs with some veggies, no sauce and cheese like glue. Hash browns were fine. Wait staff and hostess very pleasant. Place is like stepping back 20 years in décor. Quite expensive for breakfast-$13-$15, but that's... More

We stopped here for lunch and were so impressed we went back the next day. While the menu is typical Cafe fare, the food is great and the deserts are to die for. Orders arrive in a timely manner and the staff are very friendly. I'd like to go back again for another helping of pie.

While visiting Glacier National Park, we ate at the West Glacier Cafe not once but twice. The first time we had just crossed the Going to the Sun road from East to West and we were starving. It looked inviting and quaint. The guys had the Elk sausage chili dog and the girls had BLT's. Both items were very good... More

Ate here for lunch twice while in the park. Food was great and service was really good and fast. They have a wide selection on the menu and it is very good. Servers were great and very attentive. Great place to stop for lunch or breakfast if in the park.

I stay at the Lake McDonald Lodge every summer for a couple of day, and would make the drive back to West Glacier to eat at the Café for breakfast & dinner as the food was way better the what the Lodge offered. I've eaten here for years and really enjoyed the food. A lot of the locals would eat... More

I loved the bike trail from Apgar village. Great selection of salads and sandwiches and groceries. The prices were similar in some things to the grocery store in Apgar village

I ordered the BBQ chicken, what i got was a piece of grey shoe leather covered with red sugary syrup and a slice of canned pineapple and cold rice pilof. My wife order the chicken alfredo that consisted of a few pieces of the same shoe leather smothered in a tastless sauce. I felt sorry the the nice young lady... More
