A very popular restaurant, so you might have a bit of a wait. Open for lunch on weekdays and dinner on Fridays. You'll find the wait is well worth it.

All the menus I have found online are out-dated. This is average to low quality food. There are not any "healthy" selections on the menu. The American food is generally deep fried and from the freezer, the salad is bag salad. The "Mexican" food is generally good, but not what I prefer.

The tostadas were just okay, chips were cold and not great and the salsa was very hot and not fresh, but the service was really awful - waitress kept walking by the table and did not even notice that we were waiting to order. When one of us finally got her attention she was very rude and told us that... More

I have never had a bad meal in Silver City. Almost the entire town is hospitable and cares about service. This really makes it difficult to pick my favorite but I will choose Mi Casita. They are small and realize how important it is to impress every customer and they did. They are generous with their food so you will... More

We've lived in the Silver City area for 18 years. We were introduced to Mi Casita when we first arrived and have eaten lunch here regularly for 18 years. We have never, not even once, had a bad meal! The food is great and always fresh. The service is great, too, and usually quick. We always eat Mexican. The Chili... More

Is there a difference between Mexican and New Mexican cuisine? Drop in at Mi Casita and judge for yourself. Try the chimichangas and the burritos smothered in green chili. I also recommend their beef bbq which is a delicious beef brisket. The sauce they use for dipping your appetizer corn chips is spicier than the dip at La Cocina on... More

The food is consistently well done. Whatever your menu favorite it will be served tasty and soon. Mi Casita has a great lunch menu and the crown to prove it. Guacamole is excellent.

Chicken chimichanga is perfect. Other selections are very good. Like the simplicity of their guacamole. Don't care for their chips or sopapillas (both too dense; soaps are not light and fluffy as they should be). This restaurant is on a side, dirt street, down the road from a car wash and next to a pet store. Limited parking and people... More

Fantastic traditional New Mexican restaurant, if you can find it. Located in the northeast part of town on a short dirt road, it takes a bit of navigating to find the place, and worth every bit of it. Nice variety of New Mexican and American foods. Their red and green chilies are vegetarian, so everyone gets to eat here. They're... More

Mi Casita is only open on Friday nights for supper. I'm not sure of their other hours, but I think they are open daily, just not for supper. This restaurant is a little off the beaten track. The best way to get there is to turn west at the McDonalds and follow that road to the stop sign. Look to... More
