Great spot to go after a game or event at Barclays Center because it does not attract that sort of crowd. Quiet. Nice lighting design.

Originally went to Alchemy during happy hour before the Knicks vs Nets game and the price for draft beers was great! Also ordered some finger food which was amazing! The ribs are a must but not for sharing. :) Place isn't large but has plenty of tables.

I like their macaroni shells and fish of the day dishes Expensive compared to other restaurants around but good for a quick IPA and dinner

Good food (it's not fine dining, but its good), interesting beers, relaxed ambience. For us, this was a welcome relief from the overpriced options on the Manhattan tourist trail.

They are always on the Brooklyn food trail and all, but have never done a great deal for me. Came here most recently following a Nets game and had a hard time getting served in a pretty dead restaurant. Sums it up.

I've only been here for Brunch, so can only comment on that. There were 7 of us and all the food looked great and everything that I tasted (Guinness pancakes, Quevos Rancheros, and Brioche French toast) was really good. The atmosphere was great and the service was all great and they even have a nice outdoor patio in the back.... More

Love the backyard setting and everything else except for the burger. Also, most of the server are mean looking girls and with attitudes... mostly also ugly stares. Was there with group of 20 ppl for a birthday and 2/3 server was so mean and hated us even we were ordering food and tons of drinks!

What a huge disappointment- the receptionist was rude at best and the service was beyond slow - Laura was once again rude when we asked about our food that at that point had taken 45 minutes - ordered beet salad and it had no taste - the other food was tolerable but we were starving when it came out -... It's pretty impressive when a party of eleven people descend on a fairly small restaurant, are met with friendly and efficient service, pick a wide range from both breakfast and lunch menus- from a simple croissant, to Guiness pancakes, to chicken strips, to soup- and all come away very happy and satisfied. Definitely recommended.

Alchemy Restaurant & Tavern is a friendly neighborhood pub in Brooklyn serving delicious new American cuisine, local draft beers, and crafted cocktails. Come to us for a low-key dinner and casual hang out with dishes like our Gorgonzola walnut ravioli, the house made veggie burger, or our classic Alchemy fish and chips. We offer a weekend brunch with entrees created using organic eggs from Lancaster County and organic fair trade coffee from Counter Culture Coffee. Try our eggs Benedict, the huevos rancheros, or our famous chorizo eggs with jalapeno grits. Our cozy restaurant has indoor dining with TVs by the bar and a large projector screen for special events. We also have a private back patio for you to enjoy those gorgeous Brooklyn days and nights with a group of friends, family, or your special someone. Your complete satisfaction is our top priority here at Alchemy. The dark wood, refurbished antique bar, exposed brick, & friendly service combine to create a welcome atmosphere where you can enjoy anything from a relaxed pint to a four course meal.
