I have been coming to the River Café for years, for dates with my wife, anniversary dinners with my children and simply for a drink at the bar with friends. The value is in the total experience and not measure by the cost of the bill. Yes it is expensive and plan accordingly before you go, then relax, enjoy the... More

This place never disappoints. Prices are high but given the atmosphere, service and cuisine, it is a bargain

The manager is all Love & Rockets --- Ashley is a primo waitress and they are very hip and groovy with the river scene. Best place in River Oaks and Monroe to have lunch. Get there and get there now!!!!! This place ain't no Fools Gold, it is the Neo Max!!!

Eons ago, Buzzy O'Keeffe opened up an out-of-the-way restaurant in a barge on the East River. It quickly became a huge success, After Hurricane Sandy, The River Cafe closed down for several years, the physical pant severely damaged. Today, it's back, the same--and yet better--than ever. Sure, in a borough known for its cutting-edge eateries, there is something refreshingly old... More

Located on an unremarkable stretch of the Thames, but bringing that river--and the city built on it--into astonishing focus, this restaurant offers the most consistently memorable dining experience in London. The menu is exemplary--what restaurants at their best should be: simple ingredients masterfully prepared. The turbot in salt is spectacular, the roast grouse, when available, is sublime, the grilled squid... More

We stopped here in the afternoon for a quick break. Very friendly staff and the view is phenomenal. Prices are high obviously.

Enjoyed the experience of fine dining New York style, Brooklyn really, actually DUMBO. I had the gnocchi, steak and the Brooklyn Bridge, all good chooses (Note: the steak is massive) Its was pricey but it was very good and definitely worth the money for the total experience (60th birthday).

We visited this restaurant for breakfast for my wife's birthday in December 2016 immediately after Christmas. At $220 for four breakfasts (two adults and two children under 13) I expected more. Here are my pro's and con's starting with the con's; Con's 1. On arrival we discovered that main dining room is closed for breakfast. Ordinarily this would not be... More

The views are great T this restaurant and the food is good . The crowd can be a bit stuffy or stereotypes from a mob film but hey! It's NY.

I took a friend of mine there for her 81st birthday. She was born in Brooklyn - lived there here entire life. We went for brunch on a Tuesday. The staff treated her like a queen. The icing on the cake was the icing on the cake they provided at the end of our brunch - food excellent, ambiance beautiful,... More
