Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were staying at a hotel nearby and wanted a local bagel place for a late breakfast. This place was perfect for that. Loved the authentic local vibe. They do have a few tables and countertop with stools for inside dining. This is a good...choice if you are in the neighborhood.More

Extremely crowded on a weekday mid morning. Poor system for ordering and checkout make lines long. The egg bagel I had was like leather and tasteless. The iced coffee was fine. Outdoor seating is available.

This place is delicious. Wide open concept. They have all types of cream cheeses. My friends I and I got the bagel with lox, sausage egg and cheese bagel and the spinach with cheese pastry. All delicious and made fresh. Their coffee as well was...really strong. They have plenty of street parking in the front as wellMore

I was amazed by the variety of stuff that they had: none of it fit the word usual. I suppose they have the plain bagel with butter ritual I heard someone order. But, I was able to order a multigrain bagel with olive cream cheese...and beef bacon. They had no pork bacon. Why? I did't even want to know. The taste was epic. Next time, I'll try the usual. (probably not) But, hey a corner bagel store with a variety and home made pumpkin cream cheese? Sign me up.More

Regardless of what else you might get here, you're going to love the bagel. I don't know why but in general over the last several years, bagels in Manhattan have not been worth eating. Going to Mocha has brought the love back. A great size...and just the right balance between tender crispiness on the outside and softness on the inside makes these bagels top notch.More

OK, it's New York, and virtually all the bagels are good in any local place, but these were quite excellent and very welcome on a hungry morning when our hotel was not much help. If you are strolling down Smith Street feeling hingry, definitly grab...a couple of bagels here. The coffee is OK too.More

This is my "go to" bagel place. They have a ton of different cream cheeses to choose from. The guys who work there are really nice.
