Ate here last night. Staff is great and friendly, seats were comfy. Had the chicken soup , very hearty .. also had the chicken herb calzone.. not your regular calzone, more like a thick panini. That being said. Well done , slightly charred on outside just the i like it. My wife had the chicken arugala wrap.. Very tasty. Cant... More

The warm brick surroundings...the fire from the oven...and the food...all combine to make an enjoyable meal...either lunch or dinner...

We came here for lunch at about 11:30 am. The waiters warned us that it would be noisy in a few minutes when the "kids come for lunch" but we decided to stay anyway. And sure enough, about 30 middle schoolers descended, chattering, for pizza and Coke. Still, it was a friendly family-type atmosphere and the spaghetti, pizza and New... More

Well, perhaps we just got the JV team for the wait staff, but no matter, being ignored, having to ask for water 3 times, having the food arrive in shifts so that some are finished eating before the food arrives, and having your plate dropped in your lap while they are clearing, does not warrant a 4 or 5 star... While visiting my 30ish nephews we stopped here for dinner. Had a bit of a wait but well worth it. The Napolitano pizza is DOC or made exactly like in Naples. Very thin crust baked in a super hot wood fired oven. The crust poofs up and everything is melted amd sizzly. Absolutely the best pizza i ever had. And... More

Yes, the pizza was fabulous - hey, it's NY. So was the spaghetti Vongole Bianco. But Dessert Calzone? Filled with sweet ricotta cheese and Nutella and powdered sugar on top??!!? It should be illegal it's so good.

We came to dinner here recently and had a pretty good experience. The bread they gave to us in the beginning was flavorful. Our appetizers were very good. Salads are very flavorful and not bland here! The shrimp parm had been cooked well as well as all the pasta. The chicken parm is a very good dish to get! It... More

A bustling friendly Brooklyn Pizzeria and Italian restaurant . We had the wood fired Martguerita pizza which was delicious but portions are huge! However, favorite of the night were the calamari all'Arrabbita-tossed in spicy marinara sauce . Definitely worth returning for alone!

The Vegetale is delicious and full of taste. One of the better vegetarian pizzas in NYC. Very fresh and high quality ingredients. The 'small' wood fired pizza is big enough for two people. A nice restaurant with a lot of space, nice staff and good service. Menu has a lot of options, more than the usual Italian restaurants. Nice background... More
