So nice to see this slice of Brooklyn history doing well. Great pizzas, friendly service and a classic brunch menu. Went with the whole family from grandparents down to toddlers and all had fun. Good open air space at the back too.
Monte's pizza was recommended by several other guests at our hotel and it was wonderful. Be forewarned, this is slab pizza and amazing (we were expecting round pizza and this was much larger). The pizza was delicious and arrived quickly. We had enough to share...More
It's like being in a family Italian place in the 1940s. It felt very family owned and run. We enjoyed the calamari and pasta. You definetely won't go away hungry. The shrimp were a bit chewy and the fish a bit mushy. The servers were...More
The restaurant has limited seating so make a reservation or go early. We were there for a family dinner and had several dishes family style. Their pizza was good. Servers were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic Italian food. The old school Italian restaurant has great meatballs and entrees are all outstanding. Great wine selection and the desert is outstanding. Expensive but worth it.

Monte's has been around forever and it should stick around. The pizza is delicious and served on a raised long contraption that makes it fun to eat with a group. Other dishes are old school Italian and tasty.
