The atmosphere is very low key. The place is decorated very tastefully. We had a reservation because we were a group of 14. We arrived at different times. We were there to do a gift exchange for three kings day. We had an area towards the back all to ourselves. Our waiter was very attentive. He placed several bread baskets... More

Pasta dishes definitely homemade with many menu choices. Fried calamari superb as well as the burrata. Service outstanding but make sure you have reservations especially on a weekend!

Service is nice, convenient location, but the food is "too much" very fatty, too much cheese, to much cream... Too much American food and not very italian, excpet the name of the restaurant... I wouldn't go back but it's not really bad, I'm just maybe too used to "real" Italian food, from Italy...

We've been here a couple of times now. My husband initially used to visit La Nonna when it was a pizzeria, we spotted the restaurant and decided to try it, truly wonderful experience each time we've been! The food spoke of simplicity, yet a very flavorful palette. We found out during this visit when telling Ana, one of the owners,... More

Horrible restaurant. I ate here the evening before the NYC marathon and i got a food poisoning. De lettuce was brown and looked liked it was rotting in the kitchen all day. Don't eat here!!!!!!!!

Went for dinner to this italian restaurant and was amazed of location, decor (charming) and food. Good portion of food, nice waiters and good recommendations. Now they have a pumkin cheesecake in season-ask for this dessert-Awesome!! Good for couples families ang group of frinds alike.

The hotel has a wonderful decor of bleached wood floors, wrought iron chandeliers. The bartender is friendly, and makes great cocktails and sangria. The menu, while slanted towards Italian, is diverse, and the food was delicious. We had the burrata in puff pastry with white truffle sauce, which was heavenly. Service is excellent, and the prices reasonable for what you... More

This restaurant is wonderful. The location is almost right on the East River. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant interior is beautiful. The hostess was friendly and the staff was very professional and attentive most of the time. They have a full bar but the female bartender, didn't catch her name, was a bit slow. The food was... Nephew's wedding rehearsal dinner was held here in a spacious private section separated by floor-to-ceiling drapes. The atmosphere was classy with Tuscan tones, understated chandeliers, and wood beam high ceiling. The building itself is historic. It felt so special that it's not so noticeable that food portions were very small. Everyone commented that they didn't have enough to eat though... More

Pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food. All fresh ingredients. I had the ravioli special and my friends had the eggplant parmesian and gnocchi. All were excellent. Great wine list as well.
