A more limited menu than the flagship restaurant in Williamsburg, though Chimu Express delivers (both literally and metaphorically). They used to have a noodle dish I loved but its no longer on their menu. Cheviches and the seafood dishes are great.

Chimu Express is the smaller version of the well known Peruvian Restaurant in Williamsburg. The food is just as good. This place is a few blocks from the Ridgewood border, in gentrifying Bushwick. Its a small restaurant but not a hole in the wall. This is not your typical Latin joint that is common in the area. It has a... More

This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and different from what you will find anywhere else. Reasonably priced with lovely decor. We will return again!

My appetizer had three portions - beef steak, rice, and potatoes. They all tasted as well as expected but nothing exceptional. The beef was tender but it had no specific taste. It was good but not exceptional. The rice was filled with onions and small pieces of meat. It tasted ok. The potatoes tasted like typically fried potatoes. Overall, I... More

Just tried this restaurant for delivery and was not dissapointed. Their rotisserie chicken is delicious and the sides of tostones, fried yuca, and rice and beans are very tasty and fresh. The chicken empanada is out of this world including the cheese inserted in it. Delivery was very timely even though there were 15 inches of frozen snow on the... More

I live a few blocks from this place, and now take everyone who visits there, and my parents (who love food and travel the world eating) have been a week and went back on their last night. Their Beef skillet melts in the mouth, the Ceviche is to die for, and the staff are really lovely. It's honestly one of... More
