This is real deal Thai food, nothing like the watered down Americanized stuff. Good food, authentic atmosphere. It gets crowded so good to try and get a reservation.

Ike’s Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings were terrific -- though expensive, especially when there were only about a half dozen wings, and they seemed small. The rest of the many dishes our party ordered, e.g., Kaeng Hang Leh – pork belly and pork shoulder in a broth – were not, in my opinion, anything special. The staff, however, was extremely nice,... Pok Pok is a little unusual as a Thai restaurant. Although the food is served family style, the portions are small. You will not find most of the dishes on a typical Thai menu. I felt that for what you are getting the prices are a little high. The food is tasty and enjoyable.

Went here for a dinner with a colleague that is in love with the wings. They are whole, fried and Coates with fish sauce and tamarind. Very interesting flavor. We also had the boar collar which was spicy and full of flavor. Service was good, ambience was okay. Tamarind whiskey sour was a good drink.

Disclaimer: I like Vietnamese food but don't eat a ton of it. That said, our friends raved about this place. Our takeout was ready 30 minutes after we were told it would be. It was good, definitely worth a try, but I can't understand based on this experience how it has the reputation it does, or a Michelin star. This... More

I have two buddies I've known since middle school. 3 times a year we get together to celebrate each other's birthdays at a restaurant of the honoree's deciding. The goal is to pick somewhere a bit more exciting and exotic than the local pub, as we hangout there most of the other nights of the year. Pok Pok was our... More

The service was terrible. We had to wait 40 minutes for a salad and chicken wings (the table next to us arrived 10 minutes after us and got their food - 5 dishes! - way before us). There were no waiting staff on the floor for a good while, we had no drinks and no food and not even news... More

This is Probably some of the most authentic thai food I've had outside of Thailand. The water is even flavored with the rice. The dishes are true to Thailand and not Americanized which is great. My only real complaint about this place is the price, while the papaya salad is great, $12 for papaya salad is steep considering you pay... More

Cozy and welcoming atmosphere, friendly and attentive server who was more than helpful in explaining the different options and helping us find the perfect selections for the two of us. Server was never intrusive but provided that balance of alacrity and privacy that just enhanced the whole experience. Drink specials were interesting, as were the textures of the different menu...
